Corey doesnt know this just yet, but I've admired him from a far for some time now. I use to read his articles and truth be told I was always smiles whenever I had the chance to bump into him.
Today I spent a few hours with him laughing and talking over a late lunch. It was great to finally have the chance to chill with him.
While I know I will be taking more photos of him, this one will serve as the kick off for my "Beautiful Black Men" series.
It looks very banal to shoot sky from the plane window... But it was so beautifu, so I could not resist...
Sun was out, and beautifuly warm today, and the garden was virtually swarming with wolf spiders basking on every available surface. This one was on a lychnis plant, which is furrier than the spider!

This beautifuly dressed lady personifies Lady Sei Shōnagon (清少納言) during the Mifune Sai (三船祭) matsuri in Arashiyama, Kyoto. She was a Japanese author and a court lady who served the Empress Teishi (Fujiwara no Teishi (藤原 定子, 977 – January 13, 1001) around the year 1000 during the middle Heian period. She is best known as the author of The Pillow Book (枕草子- “Makura no Sōshi”).

At first we thought of what we enjoy, a good cup of coffee, a glass of wine, the sun, life ... but what should we choose?
We saw a lot of people shooting candy, so we wanted to make a statement. Eat fruits instead of candy, thats much more healthy.
And as you can see, a good apple is really enjoyable =D
