it was our photo trip to the northeast of japan in nov,2014,and we arrived the big temple called中尊寺, the autumn season , all the trees turned into colorful , red ,yellow etc.. many tourist came to here to enjoyed the beautiful scenery, verything was beautiful

This is the interior of the Holy Monastery of St. Stephen, one of the 6 monastaries located in Meteora in northern Greece.
The monastery is beautifuly decorated with gold, and frescos.
This is one of the two remaining monasteries that was inhabited by females. Infact, nuns still live on the monastery grounds.
The enterence fee for the monastery is 2 Euros. Children under 5 and school groups can sometimes get in for free. A long skirt as well a shoulder and breast covering T-shirt, and closed toed shoes are required for women. Men can enter with shorts that cover the knees, and the same shirt and shoe rules apply. The monasteries of Meteora are a very religious place for the Greek people, so please be respectful by following the dress code, and remove any headwear and sunglasses upon entering the monasteries. If you don't have the appropriate clothing, you can rent it, free of charge, upon entering the monastery. The same rules and fees apply for all other monasteries, but are always subject to change.
NOTE: PHOTOGRAPHING OR FILMING THE INSIDE OF THE MONASTERIES IS AGAINST THE RULES, AND CAN RESULT IN YOUR FOOTAGE, MEMORY CARD, FILM, OR PHOTO DEVICE BEING CONFISCATED. I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE TAKING PICTURES AND FILMING. WHEN THE PRIEST AND NUNS LEFT, OTHER TOURISTS DID THE SAME THING. THERE ARE GUARDS PRESENT IN SOME AREAS, BUT NOT ALL, MAINLY AT THE DOORS, SO IT IS POSSIBLE TO SNAP A QUICK PHOTO WHEN THE COAST IS CLEAR, BUT DO SO RESPECTFULY AND AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!
IF YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE PICTURES, PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE DELICATE ARTWORK, AND TURN OFF YOUR FLASH, AS IT CAN CAUSE PERNAMENT DAMAGE.

Los Angeles between Bel Air
and Beverly Hills] - to cover
the Thalians Gala Tribute to
Hef -
(now I have some personal
history with Hef, as my father
was a close friend of hef's
back in the 50s, and wrote for
the first issues of Playboy) -
The Thalians raise money
to help people in need - and
this one was for war vets wounded
physically and mentally by
battle - so we had a surreal mixture
of old Hollywood stars, like
Connie Stevens, Rich Little,
Ruta Lee - even Lou Gossett, Jr. -
with bunnies and babes -
and some very wounded
and deformed soldiers - all of
whom were very sweet
and gracious -
And there was Hef at
86 - not in his pajamas - but
with his new wife, seeming
very relaxed, very content,
and looking more vigorous and
healthy in person than I
expected.
A beautifu; wasp in my opinion. These sphecid wasps collect mud balls at puddle and pool edges for constructing nests. Found at Grindstone Reservoir near Ruidoso, NM.

Abused Miss tic Graffiti
I don't know how to translate this without it sounding awkward, but it's essentially, "Make of a word, the (good) (beautifu) l lover (of a) (that is a) sentence. It's better in French.
Someone scrawled a penis beside her poetic stencil... also scrawled on it and added assorted stickers.

"Miss-tic" discovered the pochoir through her personal relationship with Blek. Before she began making stencil art she was a poet, a newspaper critic, and a street theater performer. Miss-tic still considers herself a writer. "The wall is the territory of my poems," she says. "It is my publisher." When she and Blek split up, she made a text pochoir she called "L'art mur," a play on the sounds of the French for "wall art" and "armor." Later she made a pochoir called "chair amie," which sounds like "dear friend" but literally means "friendly flesh." "It was a bit narcissistic, but also a laugh," she said.
Today, Miss-tic's images, all stylized self-portraits, are known throughout Paris. But her texts are even more central to her pochoirs. Miss-tic does not consider herself a graphic artist. She writes with pictures and words. "Poetry matches well with the pochoir," she says, "because, like stencil art, poetry can be condensed. A lot of images reveal themselves in a short sentence." Although Miss-tic's stencils are carefully prepared, the texts are often written impulsively. She says she abhors slogans and is not political, but it is impossible to miss the feminist passion in her work, the personal feelings in her public self. In fact, Miss-tic's pochoirs are her diary: She works out her personal passions on public walls.
