I had no idea that the Beast costumes got a major facelift recently, most like I assume in support of the movie reboot, and was very impressed!
When I go through the photos I took on top of Pidurangala rock, I just wondered after seeing the beast face appeared in the hair

A dung beetle of the genus Geotrupes, possibly Geotrupes stercorarius. I found it wriggling on its back on a path near Camas-luinie in Glen Elchaig and righted it after taking shots of its iridescent purple and blue underside.
Note the parasites (mites?) hitching a ride between its front and middle pairs of legs.
