From my exhibition "Nick Morley's Amazing World of Beards" at Permanent Gallery, Brighton, 2007. Visitors were invited to make their own beards and moustaches to celebrate the World Beard and Moustache Championships on September 1st.
I'm growing a support beard alongside my friend Seth. He's growing his first epic beard. But I got bored so I decided to shave out the middle. For fun. And cause I was procrastinating.

If I were a Carebear I wonder what my named would be? Maybe... Good Luck Bear. The Green bear. St.Patty's is coming up and I'm guessing Good Luck Bear would be there. With a pint of Guinness.
When I was recovering from the surgery on my torn ligaments in my knee in 1990, I found it more difficult to stand and shave in the mornings, so I grew a beard for a few months.
These are scans of some pictures of that time, which Eugene wanted to see.

I was blown away by how friendly the Daoist preists were at HengShan. They were so warm and open and friendly. And they all seemed to want to have their photo taken.

Barry's beard was confounding to me for a long time. I finally ended up gluing mirrors to each other in the form of a beard and attaching it with Bondo. It worked!
