This pup was dragging itself back up to the beach after practising its hydro manoeuvres in the shallow water. It seemed to enjoy the sensation of the water lapping under its belly, and in this case, frothing over its mouth to form a milky sea beard.
After I cut a part of my husband's hair and beard.
This photo is a birthday present for a friend of mine. He's becoming ever more geriatric than I know (he says). One of his decadent hobbies is to create internet aliases and then to delete them and to enjoy when people recognize him and when people don't recognize him. So I don't know which of his aliases to refer to. Let me call him using his Flickr alias - americanequalsplastic.
Happy Birthday, Professor Americanequalsplastic Longhair!
just given Cliffys grey beard a blue rinse! Wikipedia says - A blue rinse is a dilute hair dye used to reduce the yellowed appearance of grey or white hair, typically associated with older women
My youngest son asked me if that was what Santa's beard was made of. In some mixed forests, hair ice forms on rotten wood when a period of rain is followed by a period of ice, but only if the fungus Exidiopsis effusa is present in the forest.
a little picture from something i'm working on based on the man with the longest beard in the world, kind of unfinished, but will do for now.
I spotted this guy across the street. The old saying about the grass being greener on the other side of the street immediately came to mind lol.. Fortunately for me, he crossed the road and I was able to catch his attention. He was a cheerful fellow and I complimented him on his beard and asked if I could photograph him. We chatted and he told me some funny stories about how he keeps in good shape (he is in his seventies). I took several shots throughout the shoot while engaging in some conversation and here is one of the more animated results. I might post another which I also like later on.

Being fan of Assassin's Creed IV, I wanted to reproduce certain characters from the game, as also being fan of video game.
From L. to R. :
-Stede Bonnet (Pirate)
-Edward Thatch (Black Beard)
-Queen Anne's Revenge
Note : Bonnet at this time of adventure is supposed to have an eye patch, which I didn't make this.
Black Beard ok.
I wanted to reproduce the famous ship, the Queen Anne's Revenge in miniature. I was inspired to try to reproduce it, I recently saw MOCs with justly this idea, knowing that this is my first test in a miniature boat, first time for all as they say ;)
-There are still other photos on this subject, I would post them on my Instagram.
Penstemon sp. For a perspective on size, the flower on the left has a length of 1.0 inches, while the one on the right has a width of 0.75 inches. I see a face in the right-hand flower: a woman's face--a bearded lady?--with a nose, two eyes, a pair of hair ribbons, a hair bonnet, wide-rimmed lapels, and a thick neck and torso. Interestingly, Penstemon is the largest genus of flowering plants native to North America.
