Although I would like to remind the rest of the world it's not summer everywhere! We had snow in the backyard for the first time in the 3 years I've lived here this week! Although I'm sure most North Americans/Europeans would scoff at calling what we had snow.....
On a hot summers day Davos of Ambarvale relaxes by a cool stream in one of Lenfalds vast forests. After returning from the Great Western Isles he is glad to be back in the beautiful forests of his homeland and takes this opportunity away from his travelling companions to take in the sights, sounds and smells of the forest and take a cool and refreshing drink from the small stream.
Of course Davos is not his real name, his parents actually named him Deorwine - a name from the old language of Lenfald that means Dear (Deor) Friend (Wine). However during the war against the evil queen Galinar, Deorwine found himself fighting in a Loreesi company. His Loreesi comrades found the old-Lenfel name a little difficult on the tongue and shorted it to the more Loreesi sounding 'Davos'. Of course this name kind of just stuck. Now however, with Lenfald's independence from Roawia and the renewed animosity between Lenfald and Loreos, Davos finds himself being referred to as Deorwine again more and more. He doesn't really mind - unlike most of his countrymen he has a respect and liking for the Loreesi formed in comradeship and conflict.
Although I'm still far from reaching the beard meter, I think I'm on the right track, a few inches more and I almost reach manly

I have a weird relationship with this non Ken generic prince doll cuz as a kid because it was the only male doll I had that even remotely liked Asian to me but I hated his jaw and mouth sculpt so I ended up resenting him so much.
I still don’t have an Asian Mattel guy but I figured he would benefit from a rooted beard.
I was trying to photograph Turbo as he snacked on hay, but Slim got jealous and came over to see me. That's his long beard poking into the frame. He does have the best beard of all the goats I know.
This is how I trim my beard. Nice to have someone around who can see the result clearly.
It was high time for another clone shot and as I had to trim my beard why not do two things at the same time.
This clone has been in explore a short while , highest number 494.
This is one of Mr. Carver's tree men. He came out to the house with the first Demi adventure. When I came outside with my camera this time, he was relaxed and smiling. I actually stood in the garage because it was raining. You can see the streaks of rain to the right.
He did tell me his name, but I swear I cannot remember it.
I asked him about his beard, which, in this photo, is flecked with wood chips.
This beard? Haven't shaved it since I had the bronchitis. Was so sick I had to sleep in a chair. Beard kept me warm...and I don't plan on cutting it.
I'm including him as my #12 in the 100 Strangers project, even though I cannot remember his name.
