Wow, another three weeks to get this page done... That is really frustrating and depressing for me.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to devote as much time as I would like to Basewood these days. I have various professional duties (teaching, coloring) which involve "real" deadlines that have to be met. The hope is, that working on those projects will "buy" some time to work solely on Basewood after the new year.
From now until I'm done coloring Aaron's book I'm only going to be penciling, as that should be quicker than trying to ink. I've only got one more page with the "mysterious thing" from the last page of chapter two (WHICH IS REALLY HARD TO DRAW) so if I can just power through that, it should start getting easier to draw (maybe? please? god?)
Right now I'm aiming to either have this chapter ready for Stumptown (in April, fingers crossed) or MoCCA (June)
On the beard front, my mustache is now officially in my mouth, which means I have to wax it if I am eating in public. My hair is slowly coming back in too, just in time for winter!

First time I ever tried the macro setting on my camera. I don't see the difference between this and zoom, but I am NOT artistic at all. I wasn't feeling very inspired today.
Day 39 of 365.
I initially resisted Ted's suggestion to shave the neck, because I wanted to let it grow wild. I changed my mind after looking at pictures of chinstrap beards on Wikipedia. HORRIFYING.
