On wednesday I went up to Brightwood to clean out my mothers storage unit. I only was able to load up about 1/2 the unit. It's mostly old tools that my father had collected over the years. If there was tool made to fix something my father had the tool. Several of the boxes said "office supplies", this hair was in one of the boxes. This is my fathers beard from 1958.
So.... It's summer, and i'm wondering if it's time for a little change. Trying to decide If I want to go back to a goatee, or something in between.
What do you guys think?
1- stay with the beard
2- try something different like this
3 - go back to the goatee ( or is that a Van Dyke?)
Make sure to view it at largest size for best effect.
2015 HorrorHound Weekend in the Sharonville, Ohio suburb of Cincinnati. The HorrorHound convention is an annual celebration of monster and horror films.
There were lots of beards at the event, but I don't recall ever seeing a thicker or fuller one than this guy has. Amazing.
This is how my beard looks when I slather 100 percent anhydrous lanolin on it when it's wet. It maintains the curl. Doesn't really look that different from the brushed-out look, but then again, if you are into beards, fine distinctions matter!
Before the trimming of the major parts of the beard i won't be using for my entry in the World Beard and Moustache Championships.
My buddy Sam wanted some pictures of his beard before he shaves it off, including one of his renfaire gear.
I can’t believe the number of compliments he gets out in public, from men and women. It’s not my cup o’ tea. But as I’ve learned over the last 39 years, it has to be his decision. 197:366
He said, "Your beard is like its own animal." I said, "No it's not, I don't even have it most of the time."
Minutes pass.
This arrives. "Your old Flickr account tells another story."
Point taken. (Well, those *were* probably the beardiest, ost-photographed years of my life).
This tree gives the impression its about to start walking towards you. Captured near the end of a long walk with PDWC.
From men with beards there`s nothing to fear
Nine out of ten you`ll find full of cheer
Rubbing their chin and scratching their cheek
When it comes to shaving the flesh is weak
Money saved from blades and aftershave they keep
For all men with beards know beauty is only skin deep
So throw away those razors and let your beard sprout
Some will be grizzly others patchy full of doubt
Everyone full of awesomeness about which you can shout
