This is a cupcake that I sometimes buy from the supermarket. It is made with a gooey centre, creamy icing and a chocolate covered coffee bean on the top. It's proper yum.

I had a small container, a massive bag of beans, and an empty bean bag. How massive, you ask? I think I can fit myself inside the bag and cover all but my head with beans.

We recently discovered making dishes with cannellini beans and love them. I think I'll warm this one up just a bit before dinner.
On the left are the pole beans my Mom sent, and on the right is a volunteer lima bean climbing over our basil. Mom's Collards are germinating in the shade below basil. I'm outfitted in my "contra-dengue" gardening clothes.
Everyone loves Taran's vegan* beans. If I ever talk about my beans and how awesomely delicious they are, THIS is what I'm talking about. It's a meticulously modified (by me) version of a Chipotle knock-off recipe. I basically live on the stuff; I always have some in the fridge.

Royalty purple podded pole beans, Italian pole beans, Lemon cucumbers, White cucumber, and Fairy Tale egg plants. Those little egg plants work real well sliced horizontally and tossed into a pan of stir fry - aren't they cute?
Oranges off my tree. I have never had them keep their juiciness and sweetness so long before. there are about a dozen left.
Just noticed the pill bottles in the shot. They are for Bird's Valley Fever treatment. She feels just fine, but there is still a little clouding in her lungs so we are keeping up the medication. Next blood test will be in September. If all goes well, we may be able to consider her clear. The usual run of this disease is 6 to 12 months, so it looks like we are in the longer course.
