Beach huts are a feature of the English seaside. in truth they are little more than a shed but in view of their location by the sea sell at quite a price. These are in Brightlingsea.
Roker Beach Before Dawn....no real sunrise today but the sky still had a myriad of shades of blues, greys and a the slightest touch of pink. A long exposure has blurred the incoming waves slightly.

Ruby beach on the coast of Washington State. It was an overcast afternoon, which I felt leant itself to a black and white beach image.
This was probably the best beach for walking on the island - close to where we stayed and long enough for a decent length of walk
Beach huts located at Chapel St Leonards on the Lincolnshire coast of England. Chapel point beach is a great place to walk the dog all year round.
A solitary reflective sphere stands at the end of the promenade, mirroring the quiet geometry of the coast beneath a brooding sky. Captured in black and white, the image leans into symmetry, negative space, and atmosphere—where smooth concrete lines guide the eye toward a single focal point suspended between sea and cloud. The absence of people amplifies the stillness, allowing form, texture, and reflection to speak for themselves.
Vik Beach on Norway's Lofoten Islands is a great place to view and photograph Auroras... when the sky doesn't cloud-over completely in front of your very eyes!!

On the southeastern coastal plain, the Tricolored Heron is a characteristic bird of quiet shallow waters. Strikingly slender, with long bill, neck, and legs, it is often seen wading belly-deep in coastal lagoons. Although it is solitary in its feeding, it is sociable in nesting, often in very large colonies with various other herons and egrets. Formerly known as Louisiana Heron.

Beach, Sea Isle city, NJ. Very strong winds did a wonderful job of smoothing and shaping this footprint in the sand.
A bit rushed as misjudged the time after dinner. Was trying to get up Conor Pass but happy we got to the beach instead though.
