Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!

This is Birubi Point at Port Stephens, NSW. It is the start of a 32km (20m for those non-metric peeps) stretch of sandy beach that runs all the way to Stockton Beach in Newcastle ️ If you like sand this is the place to be. It starts maybe 30m up the beach from the the pic just beyond those rocks, but you know what I mean. And if you get hungry while there, you can always grab a sand-which. Which I guess tastes like "multi grain" bread. Or not.

Anyway , Friday night here so must be Friday wherever you are in this wonderful world of ours. Nearly the weekend, hang in there 😀 Cheers 🍻

What a privilege to visit a beach with no human footprints but ours. I liked the feeling of isolation amongst such beauty. Fleeting but for a few photographs!

Shot at the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario, Canada. This is looking out from Dunks Bay onto Georgian Bay which is part of Lake Huron. This is a favourite vacation spot for my family and I in the summer. The distant land mass is called Bears Rump Island. It is uninhabited and part of a National Park.

Thanks for viewing!

Laguna Beach, California

Laguna Beach is a seaside resort city located in southern Orange County, California, in the United States. It is known for a mild year-round climate, scenic coves, environmental preservation, and artist community.

Historically a territory of Mexico, the location became part of the United States following the Mexican–American War. Laguna Beach was settled in the 1870s, officially founded in 1887 and, in 1927 its current government was incorporated as a city. In 1944, the city adopted a council-manager form for its government.

The city has remained relatively isolated from urban encroachment by its surrounding hills, limited highway access, and a dedicated greenbelt. The Laguna Beach coastline is protected by 5.88 miles (9.46 km) of state marine reserve and an additional 1.21 miles (1.95 km) of state conservation area.

It's that time of the year for spring vacation and I will be busy with family. Before you know it, I'll be back and catching up on all your beautiful photos!

The beach bar/cafe at Skagsanden beach is closed for winter, but it's triangular shape makes an interesting building under the dark snow filled skies

Koh Ngai – The Paradise IslandKoh Ngai or also named Koh Hai, is a tiny but stunningly beautiful Island at the Andaman Sea. If you are up for some relaxing days including staying at one of the best beaches in Thailand, then you should definitely visit Koh Ngai. Small, private, idyllic with an unforgettable scenery of a white-sandy beach and crystal clear sea water. That’s how I would describe that island. So if you are up to do some Island Hopping in Thailand – don`t miss to stop at this wonderful Island.

I am not really a fan of beaches of any kind (well, sometimes :-)) but this one is very special. I'd never seen a more beautiful beach before, really not! This is the so called Turtle Beach in the beautiful Sultanate of Oman. The beach is not easy to access, you have to drive a quite long distance and then walk, but it was worth it. We didn't see any turtles, though. They come in the night and you must book a special tour because this beach is then closed for the visitors
