De SNCF locomotieven van de serie BB 22200 zijn in heel Frankrijk te vinden. Ze zijn de meerspannige versie van de BB 7200 en BB 15000. Tussen 1976 en 1986 werden 205 van dergelijk machines gebouwd. Sinds 2012 worden de oudste machines geleidelijk buiten dienst gesteld. Blois, 2 juni 2001.
Les BB 7600 sont la version de locomotives électriques BB 7200, adaptées au transport de voyageurs sur le réseau Transilien.
La BB 7332 a été mise en service le 29 mai 1981 et arbore une livrée transilien, depuis sa renumérotation en BB 7610.

SNCF Brissonneau & Lotz Class BB 63500 810 hp Bo-Bo No.BB (4)63855 at Longueville depot during the AJECTA Festival, 6 May 2023. In 1956-1971 580 of these trip freight and heavy shunting locomotives were built. They were identical with the BB 63400 Class, 23 of which were built in 1959-60, the only difference being the way the two classes were financed. The BB 63400 were all withdrawn by 2015 but some BB 63500’s are still working (in 2023). When you consider this class is a contemporary of the English Electric Type 1 (Class 20), the BB63500's look a generation younger.
The last member of the class clad in Corail Plus/multiservices livery, SNCF BB15000 no. 61 (i.e. BB 15000 + 61 = BB 15061) pokes its head out from under a structure at Paris Nord, as punters exit a neighbouring service.

Der Ferrari 512 BB wurde 1976 auf dem Pariser Autosalon als Sportwagen für die Strasse vorgestellt. Der 512 Berlinetta Boxer war der überarbeitete Mittelmotor-Nachfolger des 365 GT/4 Berlinetta Boxer. Wesentliches Merkmal des 512 BB war der auf 5 Liter Hubraum vergrösserte 12 Zylinder, ähnlich den Dreiliter-Rennmotoren im Prototyp Ferrari 312PB sowie den Ferrari 312B und Ferrari 312T in der Formel 1, die u.a. von Niki Lauda gefahren wurde. 1981 wurden weitere technische Veränderungen vorgenommen. Durch die verschärften Abgasnormen in den USA wichen die Verfasser einer mechanischen Benzineinspritzung, wodurch 512 BB in 512 BBi (Für iniezone) geändert wurde.
