The Bazaars are interesting places full of sights and smells and sounds - and guys trying to con you out of your money. Once you get into it though, parrying their efforts is quite a laugh. Carly was a demon negotiator - she cleared Egypt out of scarves I think!

Just in between Kapalıc,arsı (The Grand Bazaar) and Spice Bazaar is the local shopping district. They say if you don't find what you're looking here, it doesn't exist. The nice thing of this bazaar is that just go with the flow, see Istanbullus haggle for prices and don't feel so desperately tourist trapped. Maybe tad bit claustrophobic, if anything.
