Looking at the ice, far right, you can see seagulls warming in the sun. Mere Point Neck is on the far side of the bay.

Dwejra, with its dramatic coastal formations and sea spilling over the rocks, is a magical attraction. Here you can swim in the spectacular deep sea of the bay, in the calm shallows of the inland sea or in the foamy waters around the Blue Hole – one of Gozo’s top dive-sites.

Ramla Bay Gozo is situated at the bottom of the valley in the north of Gozo beneath the villages of Xaghra and Nadur. You can reach it through the main road of Nadur.

It is the biggest sandy beach in Gozo and its unique reddish/golden coloured sand together with its surrounding features makes it stand apart from all the other beaches in Malta and Gozo.

Tangara gyrola

(Bay-headed Tanager / Tángara cabecirroja)

The Bay-headed Tanager (Tangara gyrola) is a vibrantly-colored, tropical bird that occurs in Costa Rica, Panama, and in much of northern South America.

Tangara gyrola commonly occurs found in the canopy of humid forest. They also inhabit nearby clearings with scattered trees, semi-open areas, and tall second growth forests. Their diet mainly consists of fruits, but they frequently eat insects.

Embleton Bay with some of the famous black boulders looking distinctly grey in their dry state.

These ankle breakers are usually photographed when wet and black, often with Dunstanburgh Castle as a backdrop.

Thanks for your comments and faves, they are truly appreciated.

Great thing about nature is that every day is different. Some days the sky and colors are just magical.

Beinn Alligin mirrored in Ob Mheallaidh. The bay is connected to Loch Torridon but the gneiss outcrop visible here provides a protective narrow entrance and, when conditions are right, the water surface is as smooth as glass.

A great little bay we came across on our walk from Lulworh Cove to Kimmeridge. This was taken at about 8am so we had the beach to ourselves,

Looking east across Blackwattle Bay, towards the ANZAC Bridge, Pyrmont and the Sydney CBD.

The ANZAC bridge, aka 'The Glebe Island Bridge', was first opened to traffic on Monday, 4th December, 1995.

The Blackwattle Bay Wharf is located at Glebe - almost at the very end of Glebe Point Road. You can catch a 'Sydney ferry' from here to Darling Harbour and/or Circular Quay.

OR you can use an app on your phone, and request a ferry "on demand". It works well. It takes about 20 minutes, or sooner, and a ferry turns up. In 2023 there is an app for everything!!

My first visit to this fantastic bay in Dorset to try and capture the amazing rock formations that go out to sea!

Kimmeridge Bay features some of the most important geology anywhere on the Jurassic Coast. It also boasts some of the area’s most accessible marine wildlife. The natural limestone ledges extending out into the bay make it easy to view life on the shore and in the shallow waters, making it a wonderful location for rockpooling.

Taken at Panama City Beach, FL, Bay side! This shot was a pretty good distance thus it is more colorful. Thanks for dropping by and be sure to tell family and friends you love them. Have a blessed day!!

Sunrise over the bay at Panama City Beach, FL. Every morning wake up and remember Jesus loves you so much he was willing to die for you, so you can spend eternity with Him!!!

Also known as the Bay of Fires, due to the orange algae that grows on the rocks in this region.

Kimmeridge Bay is a bay on the Isle of Purbeck, a peninsula on the English Channel coast in Dorset, and is renowned for its large limestone ledges. It forms part of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site. The coast is also part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and the whole area is part of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Fleswick Bay is about a one mile walk along the cliff top north between St Bees and St Bees Head. This is the first part of the Coast to Coast walk, and this stretch of coastline is the only designated Heritage Coast in Cumbria.
