The short straight after McPhillamy Park beginning the the descent from the top of the circuit. The lights of Bathurst in the left background. The car trails were made by a police car that was doing laps (at 60 km/hr) making sure that cars don't speed as this street track is also a road!

Mount Panorama Circuit is a motor racing track located in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. It is situated on a hill with the dual official names of Mount Panorama and Wahluu and is best known as the home of the Bathurst 1000 motor race held each October, and the Bathurst 12 Hour event held each February. The 6.2 km long track is technically a street circuit, and is a public road, with normal speed restrictions, when no racing events are being run, and there are many residences which can only be accessed from the circuit.

The Bathurst Street Bridge is a steel Warren truss bridge in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It carries four lanes for motor vehicles with Toronto Transit Commission (TTC)'s streetcar tracks along Bathurst Street over the railway tracks south of Front Street.

The steel truss bridge was built in 1903 and used for a steam railway over the Humber River.[1] It was dis-assembled and re-located in 1916 to Bathurst Street and converted for road traffic.[1] In 1931, the bridge was moved and re-aligned (Bathurst Street was at an angle south of Front Street) to support streetcar service south of the railway tracks at that location. A new bridge south of the bridge was constructed to connect the south end of the bridge, connecting Bathurst to Fleet Street (now known as Lake Shore Boulevard).[1]

The Tywn River Drive Bridge, Queen Street Viaduct, and King Street Bridge are other examples of steel bridges in Toronto. Lawrence Avenue Bridge was a truss bridge that took traffic over Don River, but it was replaced by the current overpass over the Don River and Don Valley Parkway in the 1960s.

Bathurst Bullet is a colloquial name for a NSW Trains Intercity Service between Bathurst and Sydney Central, operated by Endeavour Railcars.

The service usually leaves at strange hours, however on weekends and public holidays, the service leaves at 7:25am and takes 4 hours. This service was the Easter Monday run.

... for taking the dog for a walk in the rain. I was just about to head for home when I spotted this rainbow so I was glad I had my camera with me. If you look closely upper left, you'll see there's actually a second rainbow above it.

Bathurst Basin is a small triangular basin adjoining the main harbour of the city of Bristol. The basin takes its name from Charles Bathurst, who was a Bristol MP in the early 19th century.

The basin was built on an area of an old mill pond, Trin Mills. The pond was supplied by the River Malago, from Bedminster to the South. It lost its water supply as the New Cut was created in 1809, running to the South of the enlarged Floating Harbour and catching the flow of the Malago. After this it formed a connecting basin, through two sets of locks, between the Floating Harbour and the tidal River Avon in the New Cut. The connection enabled smaller vessels to bypass the main entrance locks in Cumberland Basin. From 1865 a deep water dock with a stone quay front was built. The area used to be an industrial dock with warehouses and numerous shipyards at the adjoining Wapping Shipyard and Docks, including Hilhouse, William Scott & Sons and William Patterson. Now there is a small marina, with residential quayside properties.
