I asked my dearest Japanese friend if she could bring me some stuff from Japan- as I really love Japanese style, design, packages... And this is what I got.
Much like the Zodiac Signs in Western Culture, the Chinese Zodiac assigns attributes and personality traits to people based on their birth year. The Chinese Zodiac then identifies an animal that can explain how others often perceive you and also how you perceive yourself.
YEAR OF THE RABBIT - Birth Years: 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011
Here I've create a bath salt blend with dead sea salt and essential oils for anyone born in the Year of the Rabbit!

These are the bath salts I made using epsom salts, sea salt, baking soda, and Brambleberry's "Berry Wine" FO. The roll-on perfume is jojoba oil, and Brambleberry's "Almond Biscotti" fragrance oil with some of their copper mica as well.

This traditional rose fragrance was asked for by our customers. The rose petal scent conjures up memories for just about all of us. Sure to please!
Our bath salts are handmade in small batches to focus on quality! This box of salts can be used for more than one bath. Our Rose bath salts are packaged in a small zip top plastic bag, placed inside a lime green take-out container and sealed with a red ribbon & label!
To use, scoop or pour approximately a half cup of salts per bathtub. Larger garden tubs may need more. Our bath salts are a mix of salts, baking soda, jojoba oil & fragrance. No animal fats, artificial colorants or preservatives in our products!

Sen. Bethany Hall-Long, who is also a nursing professor, had been developing legislation banning bath salts when the General Assembly took its summer break. During that time, she worked with the administration, law enforcement as well as medical and pharmacological experts to develop the new law.
“This was a team effort,” Hall-Long said. “These are drugs that you can make in your basement, if you have the right chemicals. Without the changes we made to the law, it wouldn’t have taken a lot to make a drug with the same devastating effects but with a subtle difference in its chemical makeup that would have shielded a person from prosecution.”

I love making bath salts in full scale. I make them for everyone lol. This is the most adorable glass apothecary jar with lid. I have filled it with honest to goodness bath salts that are scented with 100% pure essential lavender oil, just as I would have made it if it were full scale. I played around with the "salts" so that they are more in the right scale.
Bath salts from the Library's "DIY Spa Products for Teens" program. This teen decorated the jar herself!
