My Wife and constant companion for 37 years! We are truly soul Mates, and that is really rare in this world!
When we feel pain
and take a moment to reflect your life
what we see may look similar
but is it the same?
Not the one at Hogwarts, there's another chamber of secrets at my house. It's the bathroom of course, where all the magic and wizardry happens. The mixing of potions, casting of spells, exfoliation, shaving, plucking and other magic to make us look bewitching.
Double Exposure Collaboration with The GC4.
Complete fluke that both shots line up so perfectly for the whole roll.
All my shots were taken using either a Hoya +2 or +4 Close-Up Lens, or my Lens Reversing ring.
Pentax MX + Nikon Fm2 + no-brand colour C-41 film.
Greetings Flickr friends! I have the results from my first roll of film through the Pentax 645, which you might have noticed one slot over in my feed. It was a blast to shoot with - what a gem of a camera. This bathroom mirror selfie was the second shot I took on the roll. I'll post a handful more photos from the roll really soon. Oh, and I'm not sure what that white blemish is - whether it was legitimately in the shot or a light leak (hope not) or developing anomaly, or what... but whatever caused it, it was only on this one shot. So the camera seems to be working great.
Photo taken with a Pentax 645 and SMC Pentax-A 645 75mm f/2.8 and Ilford XP2 Super film.

The previous owner of our house put this mirror and lights in the master bath.
I spent some time in Salem last week helping my dad get through a "staff emergency" at the office. My mom put curlers in my hair one night (she used to put them in her long, gorgeous hair every night, or so I'm told). The results were a little funky.
And no of course we can’t be friends
Not while I’m still so obsessed
I want to ask where I went wrong
But don’t say anything at all
It took a cup of coffee
To prove that you don’t love me

Recently I came across the little man's old lion costume. From when he was ONE. His grandmother made it for Halloween 2000. Somehow the headpiece is large enough my big old noggin'. I can't believe I hadn't tried it on until now...

My Valentine message, would be to my daughter, that I love her and will do whatever I can to help her in the struggle that is her deaf world.
There is lots she doesnt understand.
But she knows I love her.
I was just playing with her here, but when I look at her smile in this, it touches me, so its my today's (little effort) shot.

My super cliché reflective selfie in my bathroom mirror. I didn't have one so I figured I'd work it out. =)
ps...I heart this lens.

As much as I like to make fun of uncultured Americans, I sure can look like one -- right down to the nicotine stains on my fingers. Does it make a difference that they're from imported Russian Rothmans?
