Another pic of the downstairs bath. I like how the brown accent tiles in the shower match the brown of the cabinets.

Nah, just kidding...

In another de ja vu moment, the medicine cabinet is the same kind we had at the old house.

mirrors are visual space makers

The bathroom was just fully renovated and features new finishes. It is really lovely.

View of our bathroom.

Bathroom, all the mirrors are cabinet doors with lots of space for toiletries, above the bath there's a chrome rail for towels (a bit like in hotels), there's a towel heater, an vapour extractor.

nice paper lamps make it feel upscale

I finally finished my guest bathroom renovation! It's all-new: tile, beadboard wainscoting, trimwork, mirror, sink, toilet.

abandoned bathroom, but there was still soap in the dispensers. I didnt check to see if water was still running though

Eurghky grey & pink tiles.

Our bathroom what it looked like for I-don't-know-how-many years.

this was not a five star hotel

This is the second full bathroom on the upstairs, in between the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms.

After paint, new sink and toilet. Wookie shown for scale.

This is probably the pinkest room on the face of the planet. Grandmama always says that she wanted a pink house because when she was a little girl, she didn't have any pink. Now she has a very pink house and this is the very pink bathroom.

This is the bathroom on our side. It needs a good cleaning and updating.

The new bathroom; I like the vanity, but the shower doesn't work at all right now.

This photo is a bit deceptive, because only the wall behind the fixtures is painted, but I couldn't resist posting it! :-)

(I stopped by the house again this morning just to gaze at the bathroom *with fixtures*! It's blowing my mind.)

The sink is vintage American Standard porcelain from the 30s. The toilet is a more recent (<10 years ago) American Standard low flow one-piece (the "Hamilton"). The color difference is not so apparent in person! Also, the sink is still a bit grimy from knocking around the construction zone, so maybe I'll take another snapshot after I scrub it up!
