Bath is the second largest city in the ceremonial county of Somerset, England, known for its Roman-built baths and Georgian brick architecture. In 2016, its population reached 90.931. Bath is in the valley of the River Avon, 97 miles (156 km) west of London and 11 miles (18.5 km) south-east of Bristol. The city became a World Heritage Site in 1987.

The city became a spa with the Latin name Aquæ Sulis, AD 60 when the Romans built baths and a temple in the valley of the River Avon, although hot springs were known even before then. Bath Abbey was founded in the 7th century and became a popular religious centre; the building was rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries. In the 17th century, claims were made for the curative properties of water from the springs, and Bath became popular as a spa town in the Georgian era. Georgian architecture, crafted from Bath stone, includes the Royal Crescent, Circus, Pump Room, and Assembly Rooms.

Another huge industry affected by the current restrictions is tourism. Places like Bath depend on many overseas tourists, who normally flock to the city throughout the year

The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, commonly known as Bath Abbey, is a parish church of the Church of England and former Benedictine monastery in Bath, Somerset, England. Founded in the 7th century, it was reorganised in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries; major restoration work was carried out by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the 1860s. It is one of the largest examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture in the West Country. The medieval abbey church served as a sometime cathedral of a bishop. After long contention between churchmen in Bath and Wells the seat of the Diocese of Bath and Wells was later consolidated at Wells Cathedral. The Benedictine community was dissolved in 1539 during the Dissolution of the Monasteries.

Bath Time. The local wildlife seem to appreciate the shallow water dish out on the patio, for drinking and bathing. Mostly the Sparrows, but also Starlings, Magpies and as here, a Robin. The local cats and Foxes also visit for drinks.

The members of the PRFD took a lot of pride in maintaining their apparatus both mechanically and cosmetically. It's close to 9PM as members give a little TLC to PR-3, a 1971 900 Series ALF. The main east/ west road through Park Ridge, Park Avenue, is not far from the bumber of PR-3. We always tried to use red warning flashers on the ground to get the attention of passing motorists. By the front bumper is Billy Diedtrich, and Al Musicant. That's John Thomas and possibly Whitey Kruskie to his right. Up top is Howie Vandervliet and Sidney Carlock. Howard Kent Jr. 05-16-1975.

This was for my little nephew's first birthday. He loves his baths. His favourite bath toys are around the bottom tier, along with the blue ball toy in the water. Bottom tier was chocolate cake (layered with chocolate buttercream and ganache), and top tier lemon (layered with lemon curd and lemon buttercream).

Inspired by some of Andrea Sullivan (of Andrea's Sweetcakes) fantastic bath cakes, and recreated with her very kind permission.
