Fort Jackson is the largest and most active Initial Entry Training Center in the U.S. Army, training 50 percent of all Soldiers and 70 percent of the women entering the Army each year.

Leavitt, the 11th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard, tours Bruckenthal Hall, the housing for unaccompanied or single personnel stationed at Training Center Cape May, N.J., which will undergo an $800,000 rehabilitation project in fiscal year 2014, Dec. 3, 2013. Today, approximately 20,000 recruits come to Parris Island annually for the chance to become United States Marines by enduring 13 weeks of rigorous, transformative training. I believe we had seven toilet seats setting side-by-side. Consequently, that is where all of the gossiping took place.
