I made three similar, but slightly different, Easter cards. I stenciled the kraft card bases with HA white pigment ink and then stenciled pieces of dotted vellum with different colors of distress ink. I stamped and cut banners, fussy cut flower bouquets from patterned paper, and added punched, glitter butterflies.

I am entering my cards in Virginia's View Challenge Stenciling, the current Styling with Stencils Challenge at Moxie Fab World and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Happy Easter. Thanks for looking.

Supplies: Hero Arts Large Lotus Pattern Stencil (SA001), Hero Arts Sunshine (CL734), BasicGrey Fresh Cut patterned paper, Hero Arts White pigment ink, Ranger Distress Ink and Neenah vellum.

Based on a sketch challenge at The Studio. Papers are Basic Grey.

I signed up for the She Art class and it seems to be crossing into my Whimsy Winter Angel. I feel happy about this canvas because she reminds me of my beautiful Mom, who is an Angel now, too. So, I hope you like her. (Papers are Basic Grey, stamps by Inkadinkadoo and Hero Arts, rub-ons are Fancy Pants, tissue tape by Tim Holtz.)

Hero Arts April 2013 Just for Her and Sketch Challenge

I decided to use this month's sketch on a smaller portion of my card only, rather than on the entire card front. Thanks for looking.

View of the box open with cards inside.

An elegant Origami folded box I made using a new Hero Arts quatro stamp set. I used only the inside part of the stamps so they are small and I think that they qualify for this week's HA "little stamps" challenge. My cards inside the box are 4" x 4".

I used the beautiful new Basic Grey Porcelain paper. On the cover I used the small butterfly from one of the 4 stamps and the large butterfly. Love those butterflies. I covered the large one with Diamond Stickles. I did not stamp any sentiment on the card, because I want to add it when I know what I need : Thank you or For you or Happy Birthday....

The birds' nest is a paper flower folded in half.

I thought I would resubmit this card for the Distress challenge this week. TFL

The flower is on the left side, because the card was sent in Hebrew, and that's where the card opens.

Hello everyone!

Today I’m sharing a card that I love a lot… I love this dark rich brown and this tone of blue to go with. I must say that the star of the show here are again my favorite and versatile papers. Every time I peruse those papers I find something perfect to go with whatever I’m doing at the time :). For this card I created a really busy and involving study/research work environment… of course coffee had to be present in such place. I water colored the mug “inside and outside” with Distress markers and gold Ecoline respectively. To give the idea of transparent glass I removed some of the previous water coloring and added just a little bit of very diluted white Ecoline; also used a white gel pen to accent the border of the mug. The pattern paper in the bg is from an invitation to my sister’s school anniversary that I kept for “just” nine years, because it's beautiful… and also because I knew I would use it some day :).

I’m entering three challenges:

The Paper Players #218 - use silver or gold - introduced by Deepti (Dee’s Art Utopia), thank you again, Deepti - thepaperplayers.blogspot.pt/2014/10/paper-players-218-san....

And SSS Flickr Challenge #4.

Supplies:

Stamps: SSS - What’s Brewing?

Dies: WPlus9 - Seasonal Sentiments.

Coloring: VersaMark; HA white EP; Distress Inks - gathered twigs; Distress Markers; VersaMagic - wheat; Royal Talens Ecoline - gold, white.

Others: Brown cardstock; Watercolor paper; BasicGrey "Grand Bazaar" 6”x6” paper pad; MME "Now and Then Mildred" 6”x6” paper pad; October Afternoon "Public Library" 8”x4” pattern paper and stickers; Simple Stories “Daily Grind” 3”x4” Journaling Card Elements.

ETA - I’m also submitting this card, as my 2nd entry, to Stories of Stamps, Paper and… Challenge #9. Theme: Color Combos - storieditimbricartae.blogspot.pt/2014/10/challenge-9-comb....

I thought that I would share the card that I made for Barb to thank her for the amazing prize that she sent me after her scramble several weeks ago. The patterned paper was part of the prize! :)

I used an older Hero Arts stamp, but the stamp is a new addition to my collection. Thanks for looking!

Supplies: Hero Arts CardArt Decorative Birds (K4892), Hero Arts Classic Messages (CL414), Hero Arts Thinking of You (CL140), BasicGrey Kneehighs patterned paper, and Ranger Distress Markers.

I completely copied a card Jennifer McGuire featured on her blog awhile back. Just thought I'd get that out in the open first. :)

The flourish stamp is BasicGrey. Flowers are Hero Arts and Prima. I inked them up with Distress Inks and sprayed them with Perfect Pearls mixed with water (a la Jennifer McGuire!).

Buttons are BasicGrey. Cardstock is Bazzill.

I found some poinsettias in this beautiful flower pattern stamp!

Well, at least it looked like poinsettia to me. :)

To make the poinsettias, I stamped flower pattern on red patterned paper ( it's from EchoPark Season's greetings 6x6 ) using VersaMark ink, then I heated it up using clear embossing powder.

After cutting out those flowers I added some red gemstones and pearl to the center area.

Made from Figgy Pudding by Basic Grey

I'm resubmitting this card for this week's challenge. These words are all from the same set. I just mixed them up a bit!

The girl stamp "Glimmering Hope" is by Stampotique.

Sentiments are Hero Arts Anytime Messages.

Patterned paper is Basic Grey's Fusion and Ambrosia, and K& Co.

Colored using Marvy markers

Eyes highlighted with Lime Green Stickles. (My first time to use stickles!)

Thanks for looking!

Supplies: Hero Arts My Favorite (AC030), Hero Arts Father's Day (LP281), Hero Arts Graph Background (S5435), Hero Arts Red Gemstones (CH159), Hero Arts Shadow Inks (Navy, Red Royal), Ranger Distress Ink (Faded Jeans), and BasicGrey Aspen Frost patterned paper.

Your design would have lots of flying geese in it. ;-) But I see a totally happy scrappy design. Could you envision this with the creme background?

I've decided to downsize my collection of older stamps so before I get rid of this stamp (from 1994), I decided to ink it up one last time. I paired it with this fun sentiment (Thanks again, Sarah!) and paper-pieced the image with patterned papers from BasicGrey.

To make this card, I stamped Hero Arts S5485 Many Petals twice onto 140# cold pressed watercolor paper, using Ranger Archival waterproof black ink. After the ink dried, I used Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils and water to watercolor paint the flowers.

I cut the center flower out of one, and curled the edges of the flower petals backward. Then I adhered it to the other flower using foam squares for dimension. I added two watercolor leaves from Hero Arts CG148 Blossoms and three pearls from Hero Arts CH216 Sunshine Mixed Accents. Ranger Stickles glitter glue in Crystal added to the flower center. (See close-up).

The card base is made from Little Yellow Bicycle's Vita Bella Collection: VB-101 Green Distressed. I stamped the "enjoy" sentiment from Hero Arts CL520 Live and Laugh using VersaMark watermark ink and then heat embossed it with Ranger seafoam white embossing powder. I added matching rick rack ribbon from Basic Grey.
