saw a runner similar to this here on Flickr so decided to recreate it, making mine one diamond longer.

Here is my attempt at a neighborhood for Christy Tomlinson's Whimsy Winter class. Somehow the trees took over and then the neighbors! Fancy Pants rub-ons. The Snowpeeps were from a Basic Grey paper - cut out and doodled. The girls and critters are from my stamp set - Storybook Village (Stampington).

This was so fun. For my first card I used "Ready Set Go" by Amy Tangerine patterned paper and tiny house image from Hero Arts "My Favorite" set and also tiny splatter image to show some smoke out of the chimney. For my second card I used BasicGrey's patterned paper and stamped the "Sweet Threads Spirals" stamp using only versamark ink (It is hard to see) and also used the "My Favorite" stamp set for the feather and sentiment. I love the combination of gold, aqua and pink. Thank you so much Martha for this awesome theme.

Thank you. :-)

I am so inspired by this month's challenge! I love Autumn and I've been itching to play with fall colors and themes!

I made this card using Basic Grey > Urban Prairie > Bluebird and Cosmo Cricket > Wanted > Slim Jim patterned papers. Sentiment stamped in VersaFine Vintage Sepia pigment ink.

The butterflies were stamped on Glossy Paper using Ranger Archival Ink in jet black. Then they were colored using Spiced Marmalade (orange), Mustard Seed (yellow), and Shabby Shutters (green) Distress Inks.

Then I spread a layer of Crystal Stickles glitter glue over top of the butterflies. This gives them such a cool effect. I've uploaded close-ups of both the large butterfly and small butterfly so you can see them better!

Thanks for looking! :-)

A mixed media project on a 4.5x6" canvas board. The orange got a little too bright, but I got tired of wrasslin' the photo editor, LOL. Papers from Basic Grey, Friend definition background stamp by Hero Arts.

Oh my heavens!! This stamp has put me in utter bliss!! I Also got to pull out a doily from my thrift store stash and play with that!

I was inspired to make this card based on a pierced card created by Monika in Germany. It was the first time I saw someone put dots on the wings of the butterfly and I really liked the effect. I think the dots on the wings remind me of the dots you will see on a Monarch Butterfly and that was what inspired me the most.

Materials used:

* Basic Grey Archaic 6"x6" paper pad: Pods pattern

* cardstock: white, textured white, and textured green

* gemstones: orange (unknown brand)

* Hero Arts CL292 Celebrate All Day (sentiment)

* Hero Arts F5158 Heart Winged Butterfly

* Liquid Paper correction pen

* Prismacolor Premier colored pencils: PC918 orange and PC921 pale vermillion

* Provo Craft Cuttlebug (used to die cut with Nestabilities)

* Spellbinders Nestabilities Label One and embossing pad

* Tsukineko VersaFine pigment ink: Vintage Sepia

This is my art journal, in an old book. It is in the beginning stages, and none of these pages are done. I am just PLAYING – I’m not criticizing myself, I’m not judging how they look. It is very freeing, and I’m enjoying it a lot!! I talked about where/how I was inspired in this post here. I hope you enjoy looking at these pages, and hopefully I will inspire YOU to play and be free!! I enjoy the fact that there is text already on the pages, so you don’t have an empty page just staring at you. Since it is an older book, I have been re-enforcing the spine with some old 7gypsies book binders tape I have had in my stash. I also have been tearing pages out here and there since the pages I am creating have some thickness to them, I need to make room so it will close a little bit.

Traded with Spiced Coffee.

Layout 2 of my 365 Day Challenge

I participate in a weekly Scripture Challenge which can be found here:

www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=408822

Each week we are given a keyword and are challenged to look up verses that contain the word, or some form of it.

This week I used one of my favorite paper lines - Basic Grey Urban Prairie...so colorful and yummy. It makes me feel happy all over!

Greta's Scramble challenge was to create a project using a supply that is not typically used for paper crafts. I used floral wire for my non-traditional card making supply.

supplies - Hero Arts Gratitude background (CG644), Hero Arts Poppy (H5904), Hero Arts Many Birthday Messages (CL611), BasicGrey Highline paper pad, Spellbinders Label die, and Floral Wire.

I simply cannot get enough of this Hydrangia stamp!!! The music was stamped with Pumis Stone D.I. Butterflies are an old Stamp in the Hand stamp. Postmarks are from the HA Manuscript stamp. TFL!

Dress for my dear Amy. She chose the print (Basic Grey's Max & Whiskers for Moda) and the pattern (Burdastyle Theresa) herself! And yes, I am confident she will be able to fit into this.

A friend wanted a few cards made up simular to the ones I have already made. So this is what I came up with. As I have trouble doing the same card twice. TFL
