Because there was too much construction going on to actually lay down at the base of the building. Alas.

A tiny, dark and glam space located in Chelsea, Barts offers comfort food like macaroni ’n’ cheese and shepherd’s pie.
Launching Bart - the community bus for Buckingham and North Bucks. It is a great result following Cllr Warren Whyte and his committee’s perseverance over two years of pilots supported by Buckinghamshire Council. During December I was pleased to hear they are doing their bit to help the High Street and the Shop Local campaign with a number of shopping trips to Buckingham being planned.

Those of you who know about my crowd-phobia...be proud of me.
I know that this is not really a very good picture, but even its poor quality sort of illustrates my issues with feeling out of control in an unruly mob (even a mob of essentially harmless people having fun...actually that can be the most careless/dangerous kind)...
I looked it up and there are several different names for this type of fear- I wouldn't say I honestly have it on the level of a phobia, but if I did it is called ochlophobia, enochlophobia, or demophobia...
I don't mind all crowds, but unpredictable crowds really freak me out!
Bart is no longer with us but he was a special little guy. He spent the first 7 years of his life in a really abusive home until he came to my friend. She nursed him back to health. (He had been thrown against a wall repeatedly until the skin on his neck was actually torn from his body and had to be stitched up) During his time with Lana(8 years), he assisted in training other rescue dogs by keeping them in the yard, rounding them up, putting them in their place in the pack, etc. He was such a great dog! We miss him greatly.
I love this sign; what exactly are they saying here? thank you for napping behind sunglasses? is this supposed to be ironic?
I wanted to have a closer look at whether my pinhole making technique produces round holes so I attached one in front of my camera lens took this photo through it onto paper!

Feb. 2, 2010: This is a temporary tag until I can get these photos properly labelled. But, I went from Japantown to Market/Church to Golden Gate Park to Ocean Beach and back on Muni buses, trolleybuses and light rail, before heading to Richmond on BART on Tuesday, February 2, 2010.
