Continuing our tourist trip to Cairns on our last full day in Australia we visited the Great Barrier Reef. This shot was taken from a glass bottomed boat taking a tour over the coral. Obviously this was taken through glass so the quality isn't that great but hopefully you still get an impression of the coral and the seabed.
The dark patches in the water are the reefs we snorkeled over. In the distance, you can see the breakers on the barrier reef.

You can see the tire tracks through the median and how the cable barrier flexed and absorbed the impact from the semitruck, stopping it from hitting oncoming traffic.

This picture is from our SD-WY trip this summer. Location is Black Hills wild life loop. This fence doesn't serve any purpose as such, as it's not running all over the loop. The place is serene and you will probably not hear anything other than the wind.
