More from this wall to come! This find made 3 hours of exploring Massport 110% worth it.

p.s. I'm trying really hard to chill out with these abstracts/colors and maybe try to take pictures of PEOPLE for once... but every time I find something like this I just can't help myself. Sooner or later I'll change things up...

I found this two weeks ago while exploring some laboratories in Bedford, MA. The red asterisk is part of a logo for a solar energy corporation called Spire.

I'm leaving for pre-cross country camp tomorrow for about a week, and then school starts up a couple of days after that. I'm generally pretty busy during the school year so I'm not sure how often I'll be able to upload. Thank you everyone for all your nice comments and messages! This will sound ridiculously cliche, but I honestly can't even remember who I was 3 weeks ago. I see so many new things everyday that I never even considered before and I've never felt so alert to everything around me. Thank you all for making my summer so awesome!

Beauty even in passing.

Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.

Straight out of camera. I stumbled across these "ripples" accidentally while adjusting the shades in my parents' bathroom :).

This was taken with a 3.2 second exposure; I had to turn off all the lights in the room in order to get the shadows to pop.

#25 112 Pictures in 2012 ~ Crockery, China or Pottery

When the world is all at odds

And the mind is all at sea

Then cease the useless tedium

And brew a cup of tea.

There is magic in its fragrance,

There is solace in its taste;

And the laden moments vanish

Somehow into space.

The world becomes a lovely thing!

There’s beauty as you’ll see;

All because you briefly stopped

To brew a cup

Anon.

Firstly, I'm not happy with this photo so I'll probably replace the image in the future. It was dark and I just couldn't hold the camera steady enough to get an in-focus shot. Grrrr.

Anyway, this is the bare minimum I need in my bag!

My sister got me this Rubik's cube from Korea a couple years ago. not the best for speedcubing but it's still my favorite one :).

I usually try not to increase contrast this much but it added a lot to the confusion of the picture. This was something like my 16th draft... I honestly don't think I could have stared at my computer screen any longer haha.

edit: Photo replaced on 21/8/09 with a perspective distortion fix. Thank you havarti for pointing me to the "perspective control" option in CS4!!! Ahhhhhh, seriously man, you are a lifesaver!

Week 4/52 Challenge - Bare minimum.

Dedicated to my friend, lover, confidante and partner for 24 years, my wife Margaret.

Without her love & support I could not exist. She is the bare minimum I need in life.

I may not say it enough but know that I love you.

Yours forever, Jim.
