Wooden walkway that gives access to the Archdeacon House, on the left in the image, a building placed right next to Barcelona Cathedral, in the Gothic Quarter of the Old Town. Flamboyant Gothic in style, it has the entrance on Santa Llúcia Street, precisely what separates it from the Cathedral, as we can see in the pic. Built in the 15th century for the residence of the major archdeacons of the see, ecclesiastical dignities of high hierarchical rank, it has been, since 1919, the seat of the Historical Archive of the City.

It’s the most visited monument in Spain in recent years, and, in 2005, UNESCO declared a World Heritage Site the crypt, the apse and the façade of the Nativity, on the left in this image, that is to say, the construction phases in which the Catalan architect could participate in life.
