tested their tent and camping equipment yesterday, because they want to come with me to Amsterdam (to Blythe Con Europe). And if the giant has to go camping the dollies will try it too :D

Me and Emília went for a pleasant walk on the first sunny day after the rain.
We went to an old part of the town and got surprised for the most delicious cake smell, and followed our noses to discover from where that came from. We found a wonderful small square of the city and a beautiful bakery storefront that made us starving for cakes. We also made a new friend, a puppy, walking around the street, just like us :)
Suddenly, Emília noticed that the store right front was for rent! We looked to each other while holding our breath with the excitement, and thinking the same thing. "It's the perfect spot!", said Emília, "everything we thought and dreamed could happen right here, it's wonderful". So I called immediately for the renting contact and we agreed returning the next day!
We came back home, full of enthusiasm, but only after buying a lot of cakes, for celebration :D
I got these boxes of Entenmann's cakes/donuts a long time ago from Barbie Size (I really miss that seller). I never got around to doing anything with them, but I'm organizing again & ran across them & thought I would take a picture. When I was little, we lived near an Entenmann's day old store. I used to love going there, we used to really stock up. This explains my ass.
Tub arrived, and floating counter top sink. I love them! The picture over the tub is a vintage wood frame I distressed. The picture in it is a miniature copy of a painting I painted in 20" x 16" size for my own bathroom!
Still waiting on: towel bar and loo. Sink is a genius paper clip holder about 4".
Oh my gosh! How I love this fabric sofa!! It is perfect Cath Kidston colors. I have pillow and fabric coming. Linen embroidered cocktail napkin over the back. Waiting on: coffee table, plant stand and plant, magazines, rug.
Et voilá! After a lot of hard work and lots of fun the "Playscale Miniature Shop" diorama status is now: "Open"! The Workshop and the Shop are ready, and the only thing that needs extra work is the future "furniture showroom".
Emília will divide her time between the workshop designing new stuff while keeping an eye on the shop. We need some help, so we will post a job offer sign on our brand-new Carpintinha FB page! :D
Of course, with the present economic situation, the work behind the counter will be very light but packed with fun , and i can't wait to have another doll ♥

Saw this pattern at my fabric store. Has anyone tried it? Like all patterns it's ridiculously over priced, but might go for it when it's .99. :-)
The bathroom is done!!Emília is very happy! She loves the natural light, the soft rug and taking long baths in the Sindy bathtub! :)
Seven years after the first photo on flickr, Emília wants to introduce her new friend, Ana. Now they live together and the house was remodeled to combine this two beautiful personalities ♥
Old joke...found these at Pier One. They are hors d'ouvres picks and they also had similar swizzle sticks. Still have to figure out how to get the booze off the sticks, but I'm sure it will come to me.
Evergreen and International (I check later which is which), these are a little shorter than barbie and all have lovely green eyes.
I ahve also barbiesize doll with green eyes. These dolls were made in two size it seems.
the menu is a bit simple sometimes. Canned fished and chips... Hum, yes main issue you have Tupper ware to keep fresh veggies and to have Fondor :D

Yes, I like to place random seemingly non-related items together~and yes I play checkers in my kitchen while cooking.

I used to save every box from just about everything I bought. Then, one day, I looked at my garage and one entire wall was full of empty boxes. I thought, “This is rather silly.”
I realize dolls and toys and many other items are more valuable with the original box, but if someone wants the item I am selling without a box, great. If not, no problem. Find a seller with a box. I don’t mean to sound nasty. But, that’s the reality of it. And, paper attracts silverfish.
Now, Re-ment… very popular and in the future it may be a really hot lucrative collectible. But, I bought mine to play with, not to store. So, I tossed out so many boxes and then suffered regret. I did keep these 11. But, I just can’t throw them out. They are so pretty.
So, if anyone wants all 11 or a couple of people want them, I can split them (Two boxes have dups. And one box says Puchi Petite). The Re-ment boxes are FREE; you just need to pay for the shipping.
Please give them a home. The city dump is no place for them.
Flickr mail me if you want them. They are in super shape. I just folded the boxed to flatten them.
