I casted a long silver bar in my ingot mould then planished it on the anvil & with the rollling mill.
Each time I bent the metal, annealing was required to keep it soft and workable.

Bangles are one of the souvenirs that can be found in many places in Jaipur and they are actually cheap (the price is of course respective of the materials that they are made of, if you want the real gold bangles, please go to a reputable jewelry stores).
this isn't what I was going to do today.. I blame this on VintageViolet its all her fault making pretty knitting needle bangles and then I jsut happend to be in the attic and what do I find.. but a bunch of vintage knitting needles... whats a girl to do?

A coffee coloured maple cuff bangle bracelet with scalloped edges. The bracelet was made by boiling a thin strip of maple in coffee and bending it around a form, then hand-shaping the edges. Fits wrists up to 7.5 inches. Finished with walnut oil.
