Now onto the doll herself. She doesn't come with any accessories other than her bangles (which she's already wearing) and instructions. Other than that it's just the doll herself.
The hair was something I was curious and slightly skeptical about. I have to say, I'm impressed. It's wavy but it avoids the trap that many dolls go into where it becomes too tangly. It's very bouncy and there's a sensible distribution of yellow streaks in her mostly red hair. There's even a nice twist on one side of her hair.
She does have her pony ears but no 'hair tail' which is relieving. Those things are just strange.
Her head is huge, but it has a nice range of movement. The face paint is impeccable and incredibly expressive. You can tell from this doll's face that she's the edgy one (if you couldn't tell from her outfit).
Her top is all one piece - the faux leather vest is quite nice and the cutie mark on her top is glittery and very nicely presented. The skirt is separate and the details are printed on, which isn't a surprise. That and the top being all one piece happens to be just a compromise I've seen all too often. I'd prefer the top being all one piece to having the top and skirt sewn together.
Her belt is black with the square studs on her box, and the bangles match this style. Her shoes are, quite frankly, awesome. There aren't any painted details but the molding is great - molded stitches, cool spikes, and her heels even have little flame decals. I'm impressed.
Now let's address the big talking point - her articulation. She has seven points of articulation - neck, shoulders, hips and elbows. I would have liked to see knee joints as well, just so I could sit her on my shelf more comfortably, but her elbow joints allow for more expression. The elbows almost click into position, a bit like the click knees you used to get on Barbies, but Sunset definitely has proper elbow joints like in any other articulated doll. They just move a bit more jauntily. The range is okay but not really as good as I'd like, a bit like the Star Darlings' elbows. Her legs can't move backwards, only forwards.
Pyrite Wire-Wrapped Bangle Bracelet. This bracelet measures 7 3/4". The gemstone is pyrite(also known as fools gold) flat squares and 14 kt small gold filled beads on each sides of the wrapped links. It is wire-wrapped with 20 gauge 14 kt gold filled wire. This is an easy bracelet to clasp making it easy to wear.

i had this mad idea once to salvedge a whole load of BNC T-pieces ftom a skip so i made some of them into a bangle since i don't use them all. unfortnitly i don't have a ladies wrist to display it on so this arty show will have to do.
