I hand wrapped this entire bangle using pure copper wire. This bangle bracelet is a funky design that is super fun to wear. The inside diameter of this bangle is 6 cm. The entire bangle is handmade including the clasp by me. The spiral measures 4 cm across and 4 cm from top to bottom.
A rich coffee and cream wooden bracelet, size 7. Two inches wide, but graceful, thin, and light. The bangle was turned and sanded on the lathe, then hand sanded and immersed in a dye bath of coffee. The gray heartwood turned a beautiful chocolate brown, and the blond sapwood appears cognac. Finished with hand rubbed walnut oil.
Many years ago, my father and I milled and dried lumber from some maple trees that had to be felled on their property. This bracelet is made from a small scrap offcut of that lumber. So it is twice reclaimed, perhaps.

where ever there is an Indian woman in a sari, you can be sure to hear the lovely tinkering of her bangles and anklets.
Not only a gorgeous decoupage wood bangle but a tiny work of art.
The bangle has altered images of Audrey Hepburn covered with 14k gold leaf. Vernish coated for sheen and protection.
The six wooden cards are connected by Swarovski crystals in jet black.
Lightweight and eco friendly. My decoupage jewelry are water resistant but not waterproof.
This is an handcrafted unique piece of design.
6 gauge copper wire, hammered and shaped into a bangle then colored using flame. high areas buffed to highlight the texture - the blue is really beautiful against the darker orange
Start rolling the bangle in your hands - if it tends to flatten go back to previous step until you can do this without the fibres wanting to flatten. Add more soap to keep everything well lubricated to avoid rubbing up pills on the surface - everything should slide without being slimy!
Check how much it is shrinking - at this stage if it is still too big rub along the bangle. The direction you rub or roll is the direction it will shrink.
Start working around the bangle squeezing the fibres together a little bit at a time. Start gently then gradually increase pressure. There is one direction to move the bangle that won't separate the fibres as you run it through your hands - this depends on the way you have wrapped it so check each way to see which works.
