I’ve been always fascinated by art and especially by Impressionism and Art Nouveau artists, such as Klimt. I love his paintings, his choices of colours and of forms and I’ve been deeply influenced by his art in creating this bangle - inspired by Eni Oken’s tutorial (www.enioken.com) – full of warm colour beads: 4 polymer clay beads, glossy and dull crystals, silver beads and many, many meters of 925 silver wire. Handmade hooked clasp. It is 20 cm long.

Bangles are my new passion! This one is sold.

Check my profile for further info.

*Thank you*

Bangles are carried lie this by street-sellers through residential areas, markets and trains. A much better way of reaching customers than a fixed shop.

Also worth noting is that some plastic and glass that comes to Dharavi for recycling ends up being made into bangles – though its more the collection, sorting and cleaning that happens here with further production taking place elsewhere.

Classy, chic, trendy rhinestone bangles.

Polymer Clay bangle in bright colors and organic shape, the picture isn't good, I know...

There were many ladies selling bangles to the visiting sikh ladies. Doesn’t India have the glass bangles? But of course these are the bangles from Pakistan.

I liked the idea of the unakite wrapped ring so much, I decided to try wrapping a bangle.

Several sizes of pink and green unakite beads and chips are wrapped to the sterling base with sterling silver wire. And, so you don't have to worry about trying to slip this over your hand, I've crafted a clasp for ease of wear.

This lovely bangle has an internal diameter of approximately 7 1/4 inches, and would comfortably fit wrists from 5 3/4 inches to 6 3/4 inches. My wrist is 6 1/2 and it fits me perfectly.

Very nice those multicoloured bangles in Hindi i think Choorian!

This mother-of-pearl bangle was gifted to me by my SOTM (sister of the moon; it's a Stevie thang :-) ), Melissa. This bangle belonged to Stevie Nicks in the late 70's; it is half of the set. Melissa gifted me with one, and kept one. We are spiritual sisters that share a birthday and an almost psychic connection, even though we have yet to meet in person. (We found each other via our Stevie fan-dom about 15 years ago.)

A little bit of rock-n-roll history on my wrist, and yet another connection to my "sister"!
