A bangle shop in Madurai Meenakshi Amman Kovil, Madurai. Brilliant bangles, reasonable to cheap prices - what more does a girl want?! Usually housing only glass bangles, even these traditional shop keepers are keeping up with the trends by introducing metallic/ceramic/plastic varieties of bangles. My friends and I spent at least an hour here!! Need I say more?!
The story:
"She was sobbing. Her glass bangles had broken.I consoled her and put half of the remaining ones on either hand." She smiled at me.
Our beautiful bangles are one of a kind works of art. Each bangle is hand wrapped with silk or other fabric. Some bangles are decorated with pearls or beads. Some have bits of old jewelry or and antique earring wired onto them. Each one is unique. They are green and upcycled and made locally here in Seattle.
Fantastic rings are true, originally made by 'Hairy Growler - a jeweller and artist from Cambridge in United Kingdom. Totally hand-crafted and completely 100% recycled, zero waste.
This fork bangle shown on the picture is unusual as the other ones created by this unusual artist. Crafted from an old silver fork! Also a small collection of luxury pure solid sterling silver forks dated 1810-1900 are possible, however they are rare! The extraordinary jeweller can make them for special order for you!
Beadwork bangle created with size and 8 seed beads, Czech fire-polish beads, magatamas, stone beads, and sterling silver wire. I used brick stitch and wirework.
We went to the Wedding Mall the other day to check out prices of bangles. The prices were good, the variety they had available was awesome, and in general they were of good quality.
It was quite unusual that they allowed us to take photos of the merchandise - usually people freak the hell out when I try to take a photo in/of their stores, but it seems that at the Wedding Mall it's perfectly allowed.

I am unsure of the age of these pretty butterscotch bangles but think they may belong to the same era as the glass ones I have. They are an older type plastic. Probably 1920s or 1930s.
The popular of gold simple style jewelry has made the wide bangle be popular. Even though the clothes are low profile, this kind of special accessory will make the whole makeup lively.
