Bangles are an important part of a bride's trousseau in India. Every city has an area that only has shops selling wedding related stuff. On the main street are saree & jewellery shops & in the back alleys, stores selling everything from bangles to undergarments.

One of the restaurant at the Westin Hotel in Hitec City had a wall filled with bangles. It was quite a sight.
