Okay, next time the door opens we make a break for it, agreed?

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. Any comments or Faves are very much appreciated.

Sometimes I just 'feeeeeeeeel' like this, a flower image in b&w...

I love the subtle tones, all the varied tones, that give the flower/petals/sepals/stems their texture, depth and form, their delectable shapes accentuated, extracted and emphasised without the colour. Don't you agree?

Heliotropism is sun tracking...

In the vase, this one kept turning the 'wrong' way, showing its back...

MORE THAN EVER:

Lead and enjoy a good life, do and say things that enrich... and do not forget to tell the people close to you, how much you love them!

With love to you and thank you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)

Our very nice, great looking, lady in red looking at the photography on the wall.

I don’t just play the game. I make the rules.

Juvenile Starling, sat on the back of a bench in Seahouses, probably waiting for folk coming from the chip shop, hope it got lucky.

A back view of Muckross House, Killarney, Ireland.

he walks with the weight of years in his posture, swallowed by a city that looks away. light finds him, but it offers no warmth â only the outline of existence. in this frame, time folds inward and forgets to move.

The fact is that you can't hit

a target that you can't see.

If you don't know where

you are going, you will probably

end up somewhere else.

You have to have goals.

My computer is being repaired.

I only recently realised that Lightroom can also be used to process on a tablet!

It’s a long time since I used my smart phone to take photographs... but as they say, ‘ the best camera is the one you have with you!’

It's SO funny- we have several waterers in the house for the cats, but any time I replace the big bowl of water I keep outside on the deck, Callie races out of the house to be first in line to drink! Callie, who really does not want to get her paws dirty or be outside! Somehow, this bowl of water lures her out! I barely caught this view of her from behind! She is always wary!

My husband and Chris Stops were in Cologne on a photo shoot! Again my husband tried to steal Chris'POV!

My husband took this shot--I edited a little! Joint effort!

Daffodil fun.

It looks like this daffodil is being eaten by a wrinkly thing .... "Oh dear!"

Don't worry 😉 it's all good.

It's just a bit of fun.

The adventure of the week

Watch out, there's a lot of sharp shooting at Deinenbach brook!

No, it wasn't me with the water MP this time. But first things first: on last Friday at 5.45am, I was woken up by the deafening sound of a tomcat outside my open bedroom window. As is the case when you are abruptly torn from sleep, I started by wriggling uncoordinated with my four extremities to get rid of the duvet. Not that easy! Then I whistled for Timmy. He usually listens immediately - except when he's on a mission. And he was on a mission: to beat up Sammy on my neighbour's patio.

So I went out onto my terrace and called him again. He then came trotting along comfortably. But not because he's so obedient, but because my neighbour, Sammy's mum, threw her slippers at him. The first hit didn't impress him, the mission was probably not yet accomplished. The second hit made him slowly troll towards me. He climbed up his ladder and desperately wanted to cuddle me. After all, he was happy with himself and the world, he had shown Sammy! You can expect praise from Daddy!!! We'll generously overlook the two slap hits 😉

The picture at

meine.stimme.de/heilbronn/c-natur/vorsicht-am-deinenbach-...

shows the fur that Sammy's mum swept up later that day, on a large flat dinner plate. Sammy's is white and reddish, Timmy's is grey and black. Timmy also has all sorts of crusts on his head. So he's had to take it too. Maybe he'll learn something from it - although, to be honest, I have little hope 😼😊

I guess he'll arrive tomorrow and hold his head out for me to scrape off the little crusts. All the things you have to do as the daddy of a fighting black panther 😼😉

Four Great Regions (四大部洲)

Located on the center of the central axis of the back hill of Longevity Hill in Summer Palace, the Four Great Regions' design resembled that of the Samye Monastery in Tibet. Unfortunately, the British and French destroyed it in 1860。 China restored it.
