1638. 4/25 "Back To Work"
Taken at Treasure Island the morning of January 2nd. The morning fogs partly covering the BoA building, the TransAmerica (Pyramid) added a panoramic view more beautiful. I was amazed to shoot and yes I by myself. No one is there to bother me.

So today was the first day back at work after the Christmas and New Year break, I knew it was coming but it seemed to creep up on me unexpectedly in the end. All in all not too bad a day really, there was plenty to catch-up on but it felt productive overall.
Went for a workstation shot for today, seemed appropriate given it was back to work, plus I didn't get out and about much. The little figure is just something knocked up with blu-tack, I have named him Marvin :)

This doesn't come under the "when no one is looking" heading, as keeping informed on industry trends is actually part of my job.
it was brief... the first snowfall of the year. but we managed to get out on the deck before it all stopped. they were the the most beautiful big snowflakes. but there weren't that many. which makes it even harder to catch one on your tongue.
that didn't stop my daughter from trying.
the excitement in her smile was contagious.
and yes, she is back to work today!
(but not really conscious of me taking her picture as she was just so caught up in the moment.)
♫♫ Mat Kearney - Breathe In Breathe Out ♫♫
[I don't just listen eighties, seventies, sixties, gothic or classical.. This is one my favourite songs and it's very recent... Love the lyrics, don't you?]
Breathe in
Breathe out
Tell me all of your doubts
Everybody bleeds this way
Just the same
Breathe in
Breathe out
Move on and break down
If everyone goes away
I will stay
We push and pull
And I fall down sometimes
I'm not letting go
You hold the other line
Cause there is a light
In your eyes
In your eyes
Hold on
Hold tight
If I'm out of your sight
And everything keeps moving on
Moving on
Hold on
Hold tight
Make it through another night
Everyday, there comes a song
With the dawn
We push and pull
And I fall down sometimes
But I'm not letting go
You hold the other line
Cause there is a light
In your eyes
In your eyes
There is a light
In your eyes
In your eyes
Breathe in
And breathe out
Breath in
And breathe out
Breathe in
And breathe out
Breathe in
And breathe out
Look left
Look right
To the moon
And the night
Everything under the stars
Is in your arms
Cause there is a light
In your eyes
In your eyes
There is a light
In your eyes
In your eyes
There is a light
In your eyes
In your eyes
There is a light
In your eyes
In your eyes

Time to put everything in order.. I had some wonderful holidays.. The next are only in March.
Enjoy your evening, your night, your life and everything GOOD it brings. And put the BAD things on the garbage can.
Kisses and hugs to all of you!

A real live number 95 - with people in it! I drove my daughter to work this afternoon, passing by the main OC Transpo Garage at St.Laurent and Belfast. It was alive with activity. Every garage door was open, buses were all lit up with their lights on and their engines running. Just as I left, this one arrived. There is hope!!!
