Farmington Hills Corps distributes backpacks containing school supplies to families in need

A huge shoutout to everyone who joined us for last night’s “Back to School Bash” Drive-Thru event, brought to you by the DNG-J9 Child & Youth Programs! Over 100 Guard Kids are now fully equipped and ready to take on the new school year. It was a blast seeing our Guard Families as they cruised through the drive-thru, stopping at each station for exciting program info, tasty ice cream shake squeezers, awesome giveaways, and pretzels. Plus, USO had dinner sorted with WaWa Hoagies! The grand finale? Backpacks and school supplies, of course! The cheerful honking as families drove off said it all. A special thanks to our incredible event partners, Operation Homefront, USO Delaware, and our amazing Delaware National Guard Youth Foundation, Camp Colwell Volunteers, and DEARNG Recruiting for making it all happen! #DNGfamily

backpack is coming to perfection. On-off switch has a designated place. there is even a lid to cover everything giving the pack some elasticity when falling on its back. added bluetooth board for the RCB4. uses Parani bluetooth module (originally used with RoboBuilder, had to be reconfigured for even parity..)

I'm the one with the green backpack. Rock hopping with a backpack on isn't the best idea for an accident-prone person. Hope I don't fall in!

Backpacking trip though Molas and Andrews Lake.
