One of my first Backgrounds... This project was made with photo manipulation and it was completely build with photoshop..

My first own designed background in combination with character. Im happy about it because now I can try to make an own animation etc.
For this card, I embossed the background stamp, watercolored and then ironed off the embossing pattern. My 6 year old will love the pink!
Stamps: Wild Hearts background (SU!), Little Labels (PTI), Background Basics: Super Stripes (PTI)
Ink: pan watercolors (Artist's Loft), Hero Hues Black, Pink Passion (SU!)
Cardstock: Tim Holtz distress watercolor, Pink Passion (SU!)
Accessories: Filligree clear embossing powder, Tag Sale #5 sale (PTI), Heart Prints die (PTI), sequins (Darice?)
I placed this illustration of a koi over a beautiful oriental background. I added a Peking postmark and a gray border. I then put the finished design between two pieces of lightweight plexiglass.

Hero Arts stamp collection acetate box : top and bottom stamped with staz-on brown. Added cream stamped rectangle on top to cover the Hero Arts logo - and orange below.
At this point we started working on the background also. This is one attempt where background was used with the character. But this character was also so far off from what we wanted we had to scrap this design also.
i didn't use tripod, so the angle and the focus are different.
At the latest photo , I asked you "Guess what I used as background !! ".
The answer is " the television " !!
Yes, the color changes every second, but I can't control it indeed.

Technically this was taken yesterday, but I went up the hill today, at golden hour and everything, and realized I had forgotten my memory card, again. So I was totally upset but I snapped a few pictures with my disposable, so tomorrow those will be developed.
Today was a good day. Not much to say though. Haha.
