The background I used for this photo is actually a white blouse I have had for years that has embroidered fish and seaweed on the front!

Wanted to test objects on a white background to get that seamless look.

Set a grey card as WB and metered off the card, locked meter reading then shot the object. Came out ok.

Did the same with a pen though and the pen came out overexposed... WHY?!

Spectators were being asked to chose to stand in front of one the Backdrops:

Brandenburg Gate and Azadi (freedom) Tower in Tehran.

Zooming in very close in the water spray at the downtown fountain in Nampa, Idaho

a smallish butterfly on my over-painted stucco. I think it's some kind of duskywing butterfly.

I like it as a background, though for that use I'm tempted to crop it so that the butterfly is closer to a corner
