All these photos came straight out of the camera -- no PS or manipulation was used. I used several different stationary LEDs, manual focus & zoom, proximity to the lights, and a long exposure. It's really quite easy, and a LOT of fun!
Our Mobile Operations model involves having a backend team that keeps the frontend team supplied with product. This prevents bottlenecks and slowdowns in the distribution. The frontend team can focus on the needs of the clients in front of them, while the backend team takes care of the restocking.
remnants of tropical storm erin. we got 5 inches of rain today, which is nothing compared to south and southeast texas. a town to the east of us flooded out. i went to subway to pick up lunch there (the nearest subway is 20 miles away) and when i got back, i found out they weren't letting people in or out, too flooded.
The final implemented version gave all the attention on the stories as originally intended and the first story highlights the goals of PRISM to new visitors. Additionally, refinement was made towards the overall look of the Flash interface.
One challenge with this design was the DHTML implementation of the global navigation. Dropdowns flickered above the Flash frame causing a lot of friction in the user's ability to jump to other pages. As a result, the same navigation was implemented within the Flash frame to maintain a smooth and consistent experience.
