Backend of spent rimfire .22 calibre casing with the indentation on the back from the firing pin. The casing backend is about 7m across. This was shot at f/32 with the 50mm lens mounted on the front of the Tamron 90mm. Consequently there's a general softness issue with much less fine detail showing up, and what appears to be a speckled chromatic aberation effect across the surface of the metal. The main problem is that f-numbers above f/8 with my setup cause softness and CA problems which results in much less resolved detail.

The LAUNCH Festival was created by Jason Calacanis. The Festival now averages 10,000 attendees per year and features a few dozen speakers well known in the start up world.
Past headliners have included Mark Cuban, Paul Graham, Evan Williams, and Yves Behar.
During the festival, 50 start ups are revealed and LAUNCH at the event. The entrants compete in front of a select panel of judges for $100,000 in investment. Winners of the competition have also received investment from the LAUNCH Fund, such as Connect, which received $250,000 from the fund after they successfully won the 2014 competition.

This is the first time he showed the backend of what the new muxtape will look like. Part of the new model for muxtape is that he will be presenting music from artists who would like to show off their albums (legally). But he reinforced that when enough artists sign on, the mixing feature will still be available. Another feature he is developing is a widget-like muxtape feature that will allow artists to embed the player onto their site. One of the first musicians to do this was a band called Francis and the Lights. He played their music video which was a really good example of a minimalist music video, all done on one take. it was also one of the first artists he discovered on muxtape through a friend.
