SN Alco S2 403 keeps company with sister SN Alco S2 406 at the WP's Sacramento Jeffery Shops. Like the 301-A, the 403's days are numbered and is to be retired and scrapped in 1971.

I personally really liked the WP Alco S series switchers with their big Nathan M5 airhorns on the cab roof. It gave these engines character that most other railroads Alco S series lacked due to their puny airhorn selection.

Looking north down what was the busy shopping street of Leith Street before most of the place was swept away in c1970 for the construction of the greatly unloved St James shopping centre. The buildings on the right did survive - well the first block did, mostly reconverted to flats. The old Thistle Inn is there - along with a fine backend shot of a standard Edinburgh City Transport Leyland Titan PD2 bus with another making its way up the hill.

Made with the help of initial thoughts around 2002/2005, my mental image & idea, sketches, new concepts, communication, web & market research, several layouts, a bit 3D editing, handcrafted shading, selfwritten hardcoded node structure, 1 cup of blending, ActionScript 3.0, Papervision3D 1.5, Tweener animation package. Everything, even the text, is scaled to the proportions of your browser window size to secure future crispyness. The higher the resolution the better and sharper it looks. It is the first commercial flash website i build and i dipped into every production process, took me unrelaxed 6 month. No rules, interdisciplinary design.

It was for sale with a few other cars

The 1972 Buick Skylark 350 Sun Coupe was a limited production model based on a modified Skylark 350 Hardtop Coupe. The Sun Coupe added a sliding vinyl sunroof, with a vinyl covering over the front portion of the roof. Special striping and "Sun Coupe" badges on the rear pillars completed the package. Approximately 3,950 units were produced, with conversion work contracted to the American Sunroof Company.

This is one of the fewer than 1,000 1970 Dodge Coronet Convertibles built. According to the owner, the car was originally painted green with a 318 V8 and an automatic column shift. It has been extensively modified and is now powered by a 440 6-Pack.

Seen on Dec 19,1979 I bought this huge Chrysler with a 383 V8 for about $400 in Sep 1979 and soon replaced the transmission for another $400 then soon realized I made a big mistake I did like the look of it but it had that 1970's plastic'y feel to the interior and it burned a lot of gas so I soon sold it to my younger brother and bought a dark green 1968 Chevy C-20 with a utility box straight 6 and 3 on the tree from a friend my fathers snow covered 1973 Chevy Belair is to the left.
