Another Texas Brew! On the Patio of course :)

Spine, at the site of a collapsed ranch house in remote spot in Nevada. Pretty sure it's a cow. Maybe a horse, we saw a herd of wild horses in this valley, but never any cows.

This was a 3 or 4 second exposure late evening. Print size 13x19 inches.

Critique by Jon Heller www.jonathanheller.com You did an excellent job capturing the true feel of this beautiful place. I love your use of the long exposure. The way everything is composed (with a top 3rd, middle 3rd, and bottom 3rd) creates an excellent look.

Want to take this cute guy home with you for Valentine's? Well you're in luck! 😍

A semi profile of an alleged backbone found in my backyard

This is my favorite picture of this 'series'.

"Rond 14.30 in Oss".

These terraces were carved high into the mountains of Guangxi Province many hundreds of years ago, and they are still worked in essentially the same way by the descendants of those who built them. They are filled with scattered villages of Chinese ethnic minorities (92% of Chinese are Han, but there are dozens of very diverse minority groups) that do not at all resemble the villages of the Han-dominated main river valleys. The villages, landscape, and people, are all so uniquely beautiful that it is difficult to avoid romanticizing them. But things are changing. I'm not certain whether it is more proper to say that the twenty-first century is intruding or being welcomed deeper and deeper into the mountains. A cable-car is being built up to the high villages, which are not yet overwhelmed by tourists. I don't want to sound like a snob, but I think places are too often destroyed by people who don't appreciate them enough to put in at least some token effort to get to them. I love the ribbed look this leaf has.
