The last time i took this Cityscape was 2 years back in Colour ..3week ago i back here and shot his in black and white still my Fav in black n white Night City scape

You will notice from the previous picture that we still haven’t joined the upper part of the back legs together by means of thin curved splats to make a chair back.

I resawed a nice piece of walnut into thinner planks to be made into those two pieces. The planks are mostly cut from each side on the table as shown, then the final division is made with the bandsaw, after which I planed them to 9mm thick.

A few street shots I took, today, from the back seat of a car.

The shirring is fully stretched out, as you can see here. It's not pulling at all, but I think the next size up would allow the shirring to still be gathered a bit and allow for more fullness over my bottom.

Another day, the same butterfly - Painted Lady's seems to appear several days in a row if the flowers are to their liking.

Lovely to see so called Heritage Traction back in regular service on the railway network albeit for an empty stock move. 86 101 'Sir William A Stanier FRS' sits at the end of platform 1 at Euston prior to working 5M11 08+27 empty stock of the Glasgow/Edinburgh overnight sleeper train away to Wembley Depot.

Hurrah, they have removed the metal from my head bones on last Monday! But they released me only one day later - very surprisingly. Not only that I looked like the bellringer from Notre Dame (or even worse), I felt awfully weak.

Now I am trying my very best to find my way back to ´normal´ life, and I do thank you for all your nice and encouraging comments, you sent me before this operation.

Have a nice summertime, dear friends, and allow me some more days of Flickr absence, please ...

Back in cold November 2012, @hellogeri and I enjoyed our first proper adventure together in Düsseldorf, snapping a pic against a freshly painted colourful wall by the Rhine. This week we were lucky enough to be back in the city to grab another photo by the same (somewhat worn-looking) wall — now all married and stuff :)
