The rear of Clare College with its gardens. Homemade 8x10 pinhole, yellow filter, Ilford MGIV paper. I think I need to start biasing the exposure a little bit towards the shadows, even with the yellow filter, as the nice foreground gardens just didn't come out at all.

Pied-billed Grebe baby rides on it's parent's back. Unfortunately there was only one space between the reeds to photograph the nest.
These ants seemed to be herding aphids. 24mm prime reversed and mounted on an extension tube. Flash mounted on a bracket. Was able to sit on a park bench to take these, was nice after a few hours of crouching and kneeling to get other shots.
The centre one of these outhouses round the back of Traquare is home to a couple of pigs, sadly camera shy.

Yorkshire based Lindum Turf donated grass turf to North Edinburgh Arts Back To Basics project. Lindum Grass Turf Sculptures were created in a Workshop by European Landscape Architecture Students (ELASA) as part of their mini-meeting in Scotland this April 2010.
The sculptures were created for a community event for the following day in Muirhouse Shopping Centre.
