www.axecess.com/ | There are men who spoon, fork and do the cradle of love with one lady - night after night after night….. and already AXE men are bored to tears by this sentence (yawn). You see, we AXE Men don’t do the cradle of love and we definitely don’t do any cutlery positions. We also believe that two is better than one and that the more is always the merrier. We just have so much love to give and it feels wrong to direct so much love towards just one lady. I mean, a lady must surely feel overwhelmed at the prospect of receiving so much love. And because we are gentlemen, we always do our utmost best to lighten a lady’s load. We do this by allowing her to bring a friend, a helping hand.

I've been to Lumberjack Days in Orofino, and this was a shortened version of events like that one.

Glencoe Dawn
Winter weather windows can be short lived, but can also show off Scotland’s mountains at their best (no better place in the world !). High pressure was visiting, but only for the morning so I set the alarm for 3am. I needn’t have bothered as I was wide awake before 1 am and by the time 2 am came round I decided just to get up and go!
A moonlit night greeted me as I headed off and the frost glistened at the side of the road. Crieff, Comrie, Lochearnhead, Tyndrum all came and went with no sign of life at all. Driving through the night and I pulled up in Glencoe at around 4.15am. I was excited as the weather was cold but it was still and patches of mists had given some variation on the drive , this was going to be good, as long as those mist patches weren’t lingering on any summits!
My initial plan was to head up one of the easier gullies in SCNL, however the avalanche forecast had made me alter my plans, and I decided I wanted to enjoy a sunset from Stob Dubh. Setting off about 4.45 and the moon shone brightly in the sky to the west. I probably didn’t need my head torch but kept it on until the bealach, spotting the hundreds of eyes watching my progress up the hill! The bealach between the two Munros was reached and I stopped here to get the crampons and axe out for the last section. Over The Big Buachaille, a faint band of blue was starting to silhouette Stob Dearg, I had about an hour to get to the top.
The sound of crampons biting frozen snow now accompanied me and on reaching the spot height 902m a grand view welcomed me. Dawn was now eating away at night and the moon was setting over the Bidean Massif and the sweeping ridge up to Stob Dubh was inviting me on. I followed its crest upwards and the views opened up. Mist lay low in the glens and the howling winds that accompanied me on many trips this winter were only a memory. The blue hues were now taken by high cirrus turning pink as I reached the summit. A short distance later I set up the cameras, just in time to watch the sun rise to the north of Schiehallion between Stob Dearg and Stob na Doire. Not a drop of wind as I sat down to enjoyed breakfast with a grand vista, watching the peaks illuminate as the first rays of sun lit the up one by one. After an hour, I pulled myself way from the top and enjoyed a sublime descent, again following the sweeping ridge back to the bealach and eventually back to the waking world….

Queria testar o Axé sobre o branco, mas não sabia que a base tinha mudado, então o branco mudou de cor, no final até que gostei do resultado :D
UPDATE : A Babi e a Gi me avisaram que a base é amarelada mesmo, menos mal kkk como disse pra Babi acho que os responsáveis deveriam ter pensado em criar ele pra usar com qualquer tom e não só sobre tons escuros, uma pena né?! :x

I've got more axes than is healthy or normal. Thankfully, I don't do normal. Also, I am always reluctant to throw anything away. I have no idea how long I've had this axe suffice to say I 'found" it in a corner of the shed. It was deeply rusted and quite pitted. I put it aside waiting for the day to restore it to it's former glory.
It literally took years to get around to. It was so long ago I forgot where I put the original photo - the 'before'.
Once I cleaned all the rust off I set about engraving the head. Never done engraving before, so don't look too close. The engraving was done with a Dremel rotary tool.
It is now resplendent over the fireplace. Until Lady Underlord gives that idea the chop!
Cor muito fofinha e bem fácil de passar. Acho que lembra um pouco o Violeta da Colorama, né? Adoro essa coleção da Ana Hickmann, todos os esmaltes são lindos!
Recebi elogios com essa cor. Acho tão estranho, as pessoas geralmente elogiam as cores mais comuns.
L'Axe majeur est une œuvre monumentale située à Cergy1, dans le département du Val-d'Oise, en France. Elle s'inscrit dans une boucle de l'Oise, au centre de la ville nouvelle de Cergy-Pontoise. L’œuvre est conçue par le sculpteur israélien Dani Karavan à partir de 1980, ses premiers éléments apparaissant au cours des années 1980. Sa réalisation connaît une longue période de creux jusqu'au milieu des années 2000 où sont réalisées les stations du bord de l'Oise. Inachevé par rapport aux divers plans créés, l'Axe est composé de douze stations sur une longueur de 3,2 kilomètres, incluant une tour penchée, un ensemble de douze colonnes, une passerelle, une île ou encore un rayon laser qui survole le parcours. Il débute dans le quartier auquel il a donné son nom, Axe Majeur - Horloge (anciennement Saint-Christophe) et s'achève à la limite avec Neuville-sur-Oise, après avoir survolé les étangs artificiels de Cergy-Neuville. Symbole de la ville nouvelle, il est également l'une des œuvres importantes de Dani Karavan, qui accompagne sa construction pendant plus de trente ans.
