We found this amazing creature as we were climbing up Templo IV, the highest at Tikal. I suppose that weird peanut-shaped head is supposed to look like a seed pod or something? I'm told it's a lantern bug of some sort, genus Fulgora.

"Company Jean presents
”Loop”
Company Jeans latest creation features juggler Jens Sigsgaard and acrobat/juggler Lisa Marie Oedegaard and explores the concept of repetitions and loops. Whether it is reoccurring juggling patterns or musical pieces being repeated, the base idea is to investigate the possibilities of having a simple concept which then is made more complex and intriguing by building on top of it. Though based on juggling, ”Loop” also incorporates other art forms such as acrobatics,, magic, music and contact improvisation dance.
About the members of Company Jean:
Lisa Marie is Norwegian musician, dancer and acrobat who is an expert in Chinese pole acrobatics. Specialising in classical guitar she graduated from the ”Fagerlia” music school in Norway in 2005 and then moved to Denmak to study acrobatics and physical theater at the Academy for Untamed Creativity. At the same time as studying in Copenhagen, Lisa also took courses at ”Circus Space” in London and at ”Circus Cirkor” in Stockholm. After graduating in 2008 Lisa has been involved in a wide range of performances, doing everything from small underground shows like performing on top of a sailing submarine to corporate galas and theater productions.
Jens Sigsgaard is a danish juggler who has been juggling since the age of 12 and who's artistic practise is characterised by a fusion of dance, music and juggling. After graduating from Cirkus Cirkors circus school "Cirkuspiloterna" in 2005 he has been performing throughout most of Europe, participated in various competitions (winning a bronze medal in the "SOLyCIRKO" festival in Germany in 2005) and founded "Company Jean". Among the companies that Jens has worked with is Cirkus Cirkor and Cie Virevolt. "
