I had fun doing my first Lake Merrit HDR. I used a very #longexposure on all the photos I used here, had to do massive noise reduction. I stupidly shot this with a heavy ND but had to open my aperature all the way to compensate, and ended up with softer focus than I could have had at 18-22. Oh well. After the noise reduction and softer focus it sort of has a painterly quality up close. Less than ideal but I still dig the image overall. I marched up the muddy hill hoping to find a way in and with luck I spotted a gap underneath one of the fences just big enough for me to go through. I continued trudging through the mud almost falling a couple of times and eventually made it to the fence. I hid in some bushes checking to see if theirs any security around luckily none. If you are wondering about the title, catsbow asked me how it started that they come into the house.
Basically i threw some crisp out, spotted squirrel nibbling, put food out for squirrel, squirrel came in after being coaxed by a nut left by my Girlfriend on the window ledge.
Looking pretty...An egret is any of several herons, most of which are white or buff, and several of which develop fine plumes (usually milky white) during the breeding season. Many egrets are members of the genera Egretta or Ardea which contain other species named as herons rather than egrets.
