There is just something about a reflection in the Autumn. You get two breathtaking colorful shots in the same picture. Mirror Lake is in Northern Vilas county in Northern Wisconsin.
This photo was selected by Madison Magazine for the feature story in the Fall's Calling story to welcome the 2011 Autumn season.

This is the processed photo. It has been altered in a number of ways...all to the betterment of the image I believe. The color is both truer and more dramatic. Work was done on sharpness, contrast, saturation, and levels. I believe it is a better image that the one right out of the camera...though that one would do fine.,
