Those who came before me
Lived through their vocations
From the past until completion
They will turn away no more
I hope you all don't mind me indulging one last Hood shot for this series. The last of the light on the mountain slipped away soon after this and it was time to head home.
With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.
The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring."

Trout Lake in Northern Vilas County Wisconsin is a large 4000 plus acre lake and is the last lake to freeze over and the last open water I will see till May. Two days later this shot is only a beautiful memory because now the lake is frozen over.

We might have been meant for each other
To be or not to be, let our hearts discover
I have a feelin', it's a feelin' I'm concealin', I don't know why
It's just a mental, incidental, sentimental, alibi
But I adore you, so strong for you
Why go on stallin', I'm fallin', love is callin', why be shy?

This little fella lives in our bedroom normally, but for the photo he and his shadow nipped into Matt's bedroom instead! :~)
Whitetail deer fawns. They are taught by their mothers to cross one at a time for safety reasons, although not usually so close together. These fawns are related but they are not siblings. (potomacstar, all rights reserved)
