My new XOAR PJP-T-L-INS props on my DJI Inspire 1 drone, which I affectionately call "RRD-1."
These props make a noticeable difference in responsiveness to control inputs in all axis, the drone seems more stable in flight and when hovering due to being 100% perfectly balanced by XOAR prior to shipping, and I believe XOAR's claims of increasing efficiencies of the four motors, due to the fact the CW/CCW pairs have the same pitch and same weight, the maximum tolerance of weight difference for each pair is 0.5 gram; this guarantees consistent performance - same torque is produced by the motors on each pair of opposite arms.
The superior strength reduces flexing of the tips in flight which noticeably lowers prop noise and vibration to yield a stable, responsive, smooth, accurate and quieter flight compare to the stock DJI Plastic Props (unbalanced) when flying with the original X3 or the New Zenmuse X5 Camera.
I captured two Eta Aquarii this morning, at 4:45-4:46am in two separate frames from my time lapse that are merged together here to better show the radiant, in the "water jar" asterism. The moon is a waning crescent, but to expose for stars requires overexposing the moon which washes out the earthshine portion.
This is the time lapse footage of the Perseid meteors from my unmodified Sony NEX-5R. I published the time lapse from the modified camera a few days ago.

My trip to the Maryland Sheep and Wool festival was....epic. Long, as in: I spent literally half of May 2nd in cars, traveled over 450 miles, crossed 5 different major bridges and crossed 5 state lines. So...my experience at the festival itself was rushed to say the least. It was also unbearably hot and very difficult to think about wanting to surround myself in wool, but I managed. But...my haul was quite modest, especially in comparison to the damage I did at (very chilly) Rhinebeck.
This was one of my few acquisitions. I was so intent on finding at least one *perfect* skein of Socks that Rock at The Fold's booth, I overlooked some of their other offerings at first. Some other weird things went down while I was looking, too, but those stories are too weird for such a pretty picture!!! Anyway...my lovely friend Stephanie was braving the heat (and weirdos) with me, and, as she does not knit, she had no idea the awesomesauce that is Socks that Rock (other than admiring the pretty colors). She wandered to the side of the booth, finding a display of Gypsy Girl Creations, and quickly finding a few colorways she adored (the first being a pink and white skein that looked like a candy cane!). When I saw the explanation of the yarns, I showed her that they actually gradually transition from one color to another, rather than being variegated skeins. We were both enamored by this point, and started hunting for the PERFECT colorway. She finally decided on this one, and expressed the desire for a hat, "maybe a beret" out of it. I said, sweet, I can definitely make a beret from one skein of this! yoink!! (In case you were wondering, I found a magnificent skein of STR as well).
This picture shows really well the gradual gradient of the colors...it reminds me of a sunset, and it will look SO awesome in concentric circles in the beret!!! I'm following the Purl Beret free pattern, but casting on 120 sts. You can see my Ravelry notes about it here.
I started with the yellow because it will look more like a sunset, but also because yellow is very flattering to her skin tone, and will look best closest to her face. :)
I made up this beautiful white skinny today, it's so soft, full and curly! (very different from the ultra long white I've made... absolutely awesomesauce.

Henrys..my camera store of choice - because they are awesomesauce - was having a sale today. I'm already in love with this. I think I've just crossed a terrible photo/hobby line.
Recipe from a cookbook published by the organization Animal Rights Sweden. :)
1 vegetable stock cube
0.5 liters (2 cups) of water
1 table spoon of margarine (I use olive oil or canola oil)
2 table spoons of wheat flour
0.25 l (1 cup) of soy cream (probably works as well with any vegan cream, such as oat cream)
1 table spoon of soy sauce
1 pinch of black pepper
Salt if you like
- Boil the vegetable stock cube with the water.
- Melt the margarine (or pour the oil) in a bowl.
- Stir the flour into the fat, then add the mix to the stock.
- Add the cream.
- Add soy sauce, pepper and salt.
- Allow to simmer for a few minutes.

This may have been the first time I made cream sauce (that wasn't part of a stew or anything) EVAR! Maybe once in home ec class... I always expected to fail brutally due to flour lumps, but encountered no such problem here. :D
Mmmmmmm, sauce for my pasta and simple chick peas. Next time I'll add some GARLIC!

Benny Venom has been spinning the hardest tracks EDM has had to offer for the past 5 years. He is well known in his hometown for his high energy performances, dirty tracks, and superb mixing ability. Hailing from northern California, he has performed in cities all around his hometown and the bay area including San Francisco, Berkeley, San Jose, Santa Cruz, and Oakland. Though he enjoys spinning tech house and trance, he has earned his name through consistently dropping the freshest in electro, dubstep, and trap for the underground rave scene.

DIGITAL MIZCHIEF (Robert Delano) has been a underground staple for the last decade or better. With hundreds of gigs under his belt, he is a master showman, recording engineer, producer, and talented DJ, his sets come strong with a agressive, nothing held back, insane style.
Flavors to a tasty set can include Psycotic Psy to Screaming Americian Hardstylz, Filthy Electro to Disco, and everything inbetween.
Robert is also owner and chief recording engineer of Blue Aura Recording Studio, and owner of DIGITAL MIZCHIEF Stage Systems.
CHARLIE BROWN SUPERSTAR
Charlie Brown Superstar (aka Brett Fuller) has been spinning records in Huntington's most popular nightclubs since
1994, covering a wide range of musical genres. He currently holds residency at the V Club, where he DJ's the area's most popular and longest-running dance night, New Moon on Mondays, mixing the best new wave, rock and pop that the 80's had to offer. He has had the honor of performing with such nationally recognized recording artists as Arrested Development and Electric Six.
Charlie Brown Superstar is also one of the first House music dj's in the area and was the resident at the legendary local venue Gyrationz (the first club to feature an all EDM format) He is known for his marathon sets of Deep House and Electro.
In addition, Charlie Brown Superstar is an LBA Records recording artist and has been composing original electronic music since 1999. He did sampling for and toured with the popular local rock band, Chum, during the mid-90's and is currently a member of the critically acclaimed drone/doom metal band, Hyatari. His influences include everything from Mercury Rev, Gary Numan, Curtis Mayfield, H.G. Lewis, robots and even B-movies.
