So, the boys were all in the lounge playing playstation and Ondine was in her bedroom. I'd been watching a movie.
I came into the kitchen about 10pm to make myself a cup of tea and switched on the light, only to jump backwards in astonishment: Directly across the kitchen on top of the stove, stood the Awesome Possum, with his feet planted firmly in Radjabe's pot of spaghetti, caught in the spotlight like a man with his pants down!!
We stood frozen on the spot staring at eachother, each stunned almost to rigor mortis; him with a tell-tale piece of spaghetti still dangling from his slack jaws, and I with my hand clamped over my mouth in suppressed scream mode. When I eventually realized he wasn't going to jump on me I started laughing like crazy, he looked so funny with his guilty expression and little hands defiantly clutching kernels of corn and bits of carrot. He resumed chewing and I left the room to get the boys...
Upon our return, Possum decided it would be prudent to leave the room, and (still chewing) quietly exited via the kitchen window. Poor Radjabe was very dismayed as he was intending to eat more of his dinner later... I just thought it was hilarious :D
Yesterday I received this ridiculously cool package from Brainfrees I was only expecting the shirt, but I got a nifty little magazine full of awesome drawings as well. Check out his stuff by clicking his name up there, it's all really sick.

Here is an awesome Jupiter-6 synthesizer in all it's greatness. :) I really enjoyed playing this synth. It has a killer sound.
It had been sitting on the back porch with a toilet on it for years. So I cleaned it up, sanded it, used some lavender spraypaint, got 4/5 of the way through and ran out of paint, had to buy a different brand and color because that one isn't made anymore, and here I am most of the way through the process. And yes, there is Krylon glitter spraypaint on this, thanks for noticing! I'll hit this with a clearcoat and then put the (new!) wheels back on.

Ok so I just turned on my PC and went straight to Flickr to check out how my most recent uploads are doing, I look in the corner and see my pictures of Mini's are doing particularly well with over 100 views a day each so I check my stats and BAM! 29,000 views in one day!!! Thats almost doubled my total views in less than 24 hours! But the crazy this is, almost all views were on one photo!! The picture of the Patriotic Mini Moke I uploaded last month! :D (If i'm honest, its nothing really special, I guess everyone just likes a good classic Mini!)
I want to thank you all for the views and such - This has made my day big time!! :D Also a big thanks to those who view my photos on a regular basis, I really appreciate everything especially the lovely comments you guys keep leaving! You know who you are ;)

Pictures at the DC Awesome con. I began to feel a little like just a guy with a camera, because there was a real lack of a neutral background. The event was way more crowded than last year, but i still had a great time.
Okay, I know that this isn't a 3,000 or higher piece puzzle, but when you look at the number of puzzles displayed, most in the 1,000 range, there are certainly a lot more than 3,000 pieces represented so hopefully Mike won't punish me for posting this one here. I just wanted everyone in the group to see this as I think this would be such a fun project to do, and one that I plan on doing in my house with some smaller puzzles eventually. Obviously the Life puzzle is way too big to be a part of a collage like this, but I'm hoping a 4,000 - 6,000 piece puzzle would make a really nice center focal point with smaller puzzles surrounding it. What do you all think?
